Bunch of people who don't know how to play Stellaris, play Stellaris while being taught how to play.
This feels a bit big-money-marketing-ish, but it is aight so far.
Paradox tends to be good with their marketing, if a bit understated compared to similarly sized games.
I hope the next episodes are a bit longer though, and without forced cringy content. It's always nice to see personalities pitted against eachother after all, especially when neither has any beforehand knowledge of what's going on.

Gonna watch it but it kinda takes a bit of the fun away knowing that warfare in Stellaris boils down to just having the biggest deathblob of ships, at least in the current version. Theyre adressing this in the next big update.
I'm curious how they decided which Youtuber to invite.
The average subcount is over 400k, yet there is a guy that has 85k subs and at most gets 2k views per video.
Then there's a girl that was once a big Youtuber, has almost 700k subs, but now gets at most 2k views per video and is mainly an Instagram-pretty-girl.

Popular Paradox players maybe?

when's the next big update dropping?
Only update I've seen coming on their forum is a Humanoid Portraits DLC. Maybe they'll put the winning Youtuber in it or something.
the guy with the green hair picked brown thinking it was green then said he was colorblind
it makes sense.
also cool to see byf here. hes big in the destiny community as a lore buff.

I'm disappointed that none of them choose the snails as their race. But I'm still interested in watching it to see how it turns out.

Uh if they were popular paradox players i highly doubt they wouldn't have played Stellaris already before
7 minute episodes? Seriously? I know I have the time but I'm not sure I want to bother when they could have easily just made proper 20 or 30 minute episodes of this. Not to mention the first 2 minutes is spent re-introducing the players. Like god damn.

They up it to around 13 minutes in episode 4 and beyond, but yeah, I'd rather have some actual footage that isn't so heavily edited down into such short bursts.

The final episode:

I think they should've waited until after they had released the major reworks they've been working on before they did this.
"Oh i'm gonna kill your planet too!"
-does not build any armies to invade.
I get that its a complex game but the whole surface army tab should have been a clue that there was something they needed to build.

Or they never planned to actually invade, just park the fleet in orbit on heavy bombardment.
I'd personally consider that killing the planet.

I'm sure most of these people didn't even know what they were doing half of the time so I doubt it.
