A Russian politician claimed Edward Snowden, the US intelligence whistleblower, had agreed to an offer of political asylum from Venezuela, only to delete a Tweet referencing the offer minutes later.
The former CIA and National Security Agency (NSA) computer technician has been stranded in Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport since June 23, after flying in from Hong Kong and having his passport revoked by US authorities.
Well for him it must be a relief, but the US will find a way.

As soon as he leaves they'll arrest him and come up with an adventure of a story.
I hope he can relax there.

Bloody ninjas.
More on topic, it's good that he's finally got a place to go, though I won't bank on the US leaving him alone just yet.

You tried your best. The last one shows some use of blending and colour matching. Keep practicing.
I would have preferred he accept the Bolivian offer. I find that country less objectionable then Venezuela, especially after their last election.

This thread is now dedicated to photoshopping Snowden's face onto Freeman
Tell him to bring toilet paper.

And we all know how well that went. . .
And we all know how well that went. . .
I still have nightmares about Edward Snowden.
He would need to take a flight to Cuba then take a flight from there to Venezuela.
The tricky part of this will be hiding himself in a flight, because otherwise the US will likely redirect the flight or force it down.
Shouldn't of even said where he was going.
Unless this is just a diversion.

The real secret is that he has a copy of Half-Life 3 and the US Government wants to stop him from leaking it so we can't play the next installment. :v:
I would say to go from Moscow to Vladivostok and then fly straight over the Pacific and avoid Europe altogether. The only issue is that he would be forced to fly over Japan...

Venezuela HATES America and has oil as leverage. They won't give into US demands as easily.

Its worse than Venezuela...people, please.
Venezuela HATES America and has oil as leverage. They won't give into US demands as easily.
Quite a bit of Venezuelan oil isn't as useful for the applications that matter the most (gasoline, for example). It's still a formidable resource, but it's not something they can beat the US over the head with any significant force e.g. cutting off oil supplies to the US would hurt them infinitely more.

Do they really want to spend $100,000 to ship a whistleblower overseas? Russia is going to give him travel documents so he can travel to Venezuela. Aeroflot does a Moscow-Cuba flight, and the U.S. is definitely not going to intercept it.
I still have nightmares about Edward Snowden.
are you the NSA boss

Hopefully improvements in the extraction of sandy oil deposits will allow us to use the massive oil reserves we have. Although I for one wish it would run out, Petroleum is more of a curse than a blessing for most countries.

That'll do, pig. That'll do. I actually like yours the most :v:
There's an aura of amusing discomfort to Gordward Snowman in your final product. I enjoy seeing him disgruntled.
