Ah, Big Hero Six, Magnificent Seven, Hateful Eight... I don't understand this trilogy.
Do I have to watch Ridiculous Six in order to understand this sequel?
Do I have to watch Ridiculous Six in order to understand this sequel?
You need to start with the Fantastic Four
You need to start with the Fantastic Four
But Three's Company is too important to miss.
You need to start with the Fantastic Four
Dont forget the spin off series, Danger Five.
funny that the asian is a ninja
You need to start with the Fantastic Four
Do I have to watch Fast Five after that then?
I really hope it wouldn't be a generic cowboy action flick and that the entire team gets equal focus time rather than being primarily about Chris Pratt and Denzel Washington. That said, I should really watch Seven Samurai before watching this.
Enough screen time to flesh them out is great but equal screen time for all characters is a bad idea. Take Seven Samurai and the original Magnificent as examples and you'll see most characters have a little sub plot to make them interesting but most of the screen time has to go to either a) the leaders of the group, or b) Toshiro Mifune since he's the most interesting of the group. Works best with subplots but still a focus.
You need to start with the Fantastic Four
It ends at 12 angry men.
It ends at 12 angry men.
Honestly, the dirty dozen was the true finale in my eyes.
Honestly, the dirty dozen was the true finale in my eyes.
Yeah, Ocean's 13 was completely unnecessary.

What I'm disliking about this however is that the trailer makes them out to all be billy badasses when the originals (though admittedly mostly in Samurai rather than Magnificent) the team was recruited from whoever was desparate enough to accept a dangerous mission for the pay of 3 meals a day.
That said, I should really watch Seven Samurai before watching this.
You'll never want to see another remake after you've watched it especially not this. Only one that comes close to worthy is 13 Assassins and even that has a different story overall.
Yeah, Ocean's 13 was completely unnecessary.
And they kept shitting out sequels all the way up to 47 Ronin.
What is it with companies lately and making absolutely shit fucking choices for trailer music.
What is it with companies lately and making absolutely shit fucking choices for trailer music.
Cross-promotion? Product placement?
Where does Ichi the Killer fit in all this?

He was a fake.
Why did they have to remake a really good cowboy movie?
Looks cool, the international version of the trailer is a bit better though in my opinion.
Where does Ichi the Killer fit in all this?
I think you mean [t]http://www.amicomovies.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/The-One-2001-Full-English-Movie-Watch-Online-Free.jpg[/t]
I actually like the look of this, but the trailer does that annoying thing where they manufacture dialogue exchanges by picking lines from different parts of the film just so they can make it seem quippy
Looks cool, the international version of the trailer is a bit better though in my opinion.
American trailers show way too much most of the time.
Of course nobody talks about that reboot they just called 9.
Ugh god, you just reminded me of that shitty spin-off game they made of that movie called Mighty Number 9.
