South Korean navy on patrol in the Yellow Sea South Korea's presidential Blue House said both sides were firing into the air and there were no casualties, according to the Yonhap news agency. The South called a meeting of top national security officials. On Tuesday, North Korea had declared a no-sail zone in the Yellow Sea waters, in a sign that it might fire artillery or short-range missiles, media reports said. The area is near a contested sea border between the rival Koreas that was the site of a brief naval clash in November between the states, which are technically still at war. A South Korean ship was pockmarked with bullet holes and a North Korean vessel limped back to port in flames after that fire fight. About a month before that clash, North Korea raised regional security concerns by firing short-range missiles off its east coast. Destitute North Korea in recent weeks has signalled that it is ready to reduce the security threat it poses in North Asia by saying it could end its year-long boycott of international nuclear disarmament talks. Analysts said the latest moves may be an attempt by Pyongyang to increase its leverage and win concessions to lure it back to the table in the disarmament-for-aid talks among the two Koreas, China, Japan, Russia and the US. The exchange rattled stock markets, with Seoul's main exchange extending losses and the won wiping out early gains against the dollar.
Well, at least they are both shooting the Same bit of ocean, I guess thats something they have in common. Why does asia seem to hate sea creatur....oh wait...

Thats Japan, Not Korea.
So..war..or..is this just shooting because they can? lmao
So..war..or..is this just shooting because they can? lmao
Technically they are still at war from 50 years ago. But yeah, because they can.
Korean dick waving at its finest.
Those were dicks? I thought it was fishing bait http://instantrimshot.com/

They were seeing who's cannons are larger.
They were seeing who's cannons are larger.
I'm guessing it wasn't the burning ship's.

At one time, the Koreas had war like in Tae Guk Gi- bloody, brutal, terrible wars between large armies. Now, they simply shoot at each others' oceans.
At one time, the Koreas had war like in Tae Guk Gi- bloody, brutal, terrible wars between large armies. Still is in the South, we refer friends as brothers instead of just friends. Yet, during the war, we treated each other like savages and saw each other as germs that needs to be eradicated.
NK can wipe the floor with SK, but SK has extremely powerful allies NK shouldn't mess with.
Fuck. When I saw this thread I was going to make the southpark joke. DAMN YOU OP!!!
NK can wipe the floor with SK, but SK has extremely powerful allies NK shouldn't mess with.
I'm pretty sure the south would kick the north's ass. The north just has a lot of propaganda and dick-waving.

The SK has allies though: US, UK, China (not really an ally, but it's speculated they'd help SK), etc. could defeat NK no problem.

The only chance they have is their already thousand of missiles aimed at Seoul because their dicks. We kicked so much ass in Vietnam, Americans felt more safer around us. Everyone who graduates highschool has to enlist in the military. North ain't the only paranoid ones, we've been training and thinking of ways to defend ourselves from attacks from the North ever since we had that war. We have better equipment and training.
Splish Splash, Take a Bath!
lol NK is in famine and they have no economy. I assume the battle ended not only because of they ran out of one of the three Bs.
this shits gona get nasty real soon
In a war, basically, Seoul and Pyongyang are leveled, there's a long, bloody conflict where both countries are devastated, but the South retains the ability to govern itself and survives whereas the North will inevitably fall apart.
South Korea didn't fight in the Vietnam war...? [editline]10:27PM[/editline] I'm guessing you are from South Korea that is.
what. thats like saying Canada isn't in the Middle East conflict with USA. South Korean Marines were in Vietnam, and they kicked so much ass. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_korea_marine_corp#Vietnam_War Wikipedia, but it has the sources. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Tra_Binh_Dong 294 Koreans vs 2,400+ Vietcongs. We won. Oh and, I was born and raised in a korean part of Hawaii. My family took me to Seoul frequently, so I can fuckton of SK pride.
