the paper is used to get stray hairs off of clothes and fabric, it doesn't actually pull hair out of the cat, it just stickes to them.

Dogs are like real friends, whereas cats are like salesmen. They pretend to be your friend until you give them money (or in this case food).
It's even better with clear office tape, it's harder for them to avoid when they learn not to step on white rectangles

I'm pretty sure they don't come like that. Usually you just have to heat up the wax separately and apply it before using the strip.
