I was titting about on PSPPX2 with layers fun tiiime.
This is officially my first attempt at digital photo editing like this and it was quite interesting trying out new things.
I'm sure it's awful compared to what some of you beauties can do and any criticism is most welcome. I'll give myself a slap for the eyes right now.

The infected (Progress):

(I added veins and some more "dead" eyes.)

I'm now quite eager to practice more and create some minging pictures.
Anyone got any tips on actual blood? The more gore the better.
Instead of adding the infection randomly, you should have it going outwards from the wound.
I think that was just a general wound. To be honest, I had no clue what I was doing or where I was going with this but the idea of having a starting infection point sounds rather good to me, as a means of getting some direction.
Snip
could use some more glowing yellow eyes...
Updated with critique taken into account.
It's getting there... ?
It's good, although her forehead seems a little clean.
Needs more loss of flesh.
why is she naked? D:
I absolutely adore her eyes.
I would try adding bruises, broken capillaries, bald patches in her hair umm and maybe some swelling and bits of skin falling off, a split lip perhaps.
She looks a bit too pristine to be a zombie... Apart from the green-ness and the gash.
I think there needs to be some vividly red blood on the skin.

what
Why is her skin still smooth as silk, even after infection?

because.. valve didnt care about skin changing when becoming infected
The wound looks like it's from a red, bruised potato.
