FUCK, i'm so FUCKING PISSED I followed this ENTIRE FUCKING TUTORIAL, and the SECOND I tried putting the screw in the lid, I fucking SLIPPED AND POKED A HOLE IN THE BOTTLE.... FUCK this tutorial it doesn't work worth shit 0/10
You could still drink out of the hole that YOU made. Just put a band-aid over when you are done.
How are you supposed to do this outside on a hot day though? Don't fuckin disagree me and answer me, you're responsible for the question.
how weak do you have to be to not be able to open a bottle of water?
how weak do you have to be to not be able to open a bottle of water?
its not about being weak... its about avoiding water getting on you
Alternatively, you could save 12 minutes and just twist the lid.
how weak do you have to be to not be able to open a bottle of water?
50% reduced plastic has a strange property where if you apply any pressure to the bottle half of the bottle empties on the floor.
CHrist they're really making it a competition to make the longest anti-tutorial
CHrist they're really making it a competition to make the longest anti-tutorial
Who is?
How are you supposed to do this outside on a hot day though? Don't fuckin disagree me and answer me, you're responsible for the question.
I don't have to answer to you if you already know the answer.
I sat through all of that
I sat through all of that
Well now you can say to your friends that you know how to open a bottle.
I'm sorry guys, but I really just don't see the point in ever using this method to open a bottle of water. Its an interesting method, sure, but is it practical in any situation where you would want to open a bottle? No, no one would take the time, most people wouldn't have the materials ready, and I bet you that no one would put in that sort of effort to avoid getting their hand wet. I think you guys are giving this video a bit too much glory.
it's neat but if you're careful you can open these bottles without spilling anyway

How do people think this is a useful and justifiable idea. Just unscrew the lid and be a bit careful, it's a bottle of water at the end of the day.
strange, but when i unscrew the lid of a water bottle it doesn't spray fucking everywhere like most people in this thread seem to think it does
strange, but when i unscrew the lid of a water bottle it doesn't spray fucking everywhere like most people in this thread seem to think it does
I legitimately can't tell if you are joking or not.
Finally! I get so pissed off when I see people opening water bottles manually in public. Do it the way the manufacturer intended! Great video.

Am i missing something here? Since when was opening bottles an issue?
I legitimately can't tell if you are joking or not.
I legitimately can't tell if you're joking or not. BUT, I think these bottles are the kind that are made of VERY thin plastic. That once you open it while holding the bottle with a tight grip, it'll go all flimsy and shit, quite possibly spilling some water? [editline]3rd September 2012[/editline] I still wouldn't go through the trouble the videomaker went through.

I've never opened a bottle of water and had it spill everywhere, just don't squeeze it. Or are we all playing dumb?
I've never opened a bottle of water and had it spill everywhere, just don't squeeze it.
I agree, when opening a plastic bottle it usually spills all over the place.
I remember one time I bought a bottle of lemon minute maid and it literally would not open. Like the cap was fused to the bottle or something. I ended up punching a hole into the side and squirting it into a cup. :v:
Hope this helped everybody! I know you guys have been asking about it for a while.
Sometimes when I use the ice dispenser on my fridge, not all of it goes into my cup. Some of it goes on the ground or wherever. Can you help me out with this?
Just hold the bottle right beneath the lid with your fingers if it's made of very thin plastic, then open it with your other hand. This part of the bottle is pretty solid.
