What. Is the title being too sensationalistic or is it really on Android?
I wonder if we can play them on our phones or tablets?
So now we have source on Android? That's cool.
kind of hope they bring these to other, non-SHIELD Tegra devices.
Can you install it on any android phone or is it just for their gameboy?
I just bought a shield 2 hours ago from a friend for 50 quid! Best timing in the history of man!

I wonder if it actually requires tegra, or if it is just saying that for marketing.
199$ bucks? Now that´s a steal.
What. Is the title being too sensationalistic or is it really on Android?
It's really on android, on the Google play store.
I hope there's somehow a port of it by modders to other devices. I think they'd run fine on my Nexus 7 (2013).
If I had Nvidia shield, I would buy Portal instead of Half-Life 2. then I would copy all the map files from the PC's hl2 and enjoy a free game (who knows, mabe even episode one could work this way)
Ouya users finally have a game to play
It's really on android, on the Google play store.
Can't find it.
Maybe I'm underestimating the Tegra 4, but I'm curious what this'll do to battery life/heat dissipation.
This is in the "Additional Information" on Google play
Installs 10 - 50
What does this mean?
Can't find it.
Here: HL2 Portal You need NVIDIA Shield to play them.
Someone should grab the APK and load it onto their non shield device. I suspect it may require TEGRA chipset, but not shield specifically at a programming level.
Can't find it.
The links to the Play Store are right there in the OP, what do you mean you can't find it?
Someone should grab the APK and load it onto their non shield device. I suspect it may require TEGRA chipset, but not shield specifically at a programming level.
The 2 games don't have touch screen support so good luck playing them
This is in the "Additional Information" on Google play What does this mean?
It means 10-50 people have it installed.
Can't find it.

The links to the Play Store are right there in the OP, what do you mean you can't find it?
On android devices, like phones, apps are hidden from the market if they dont support your device. I've had that problem before, since my phone is old and barely supports anything anymore. Even if you click a link from the OP, there's no way to install it. I'd guess it's only allowed for Nvidia sheild users.
That... happened faster than I expected. Wasn't HL2 only announced like two days ago?
The 2 games don't have touch screen support so good luck playing them
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dancingpixelstudios.sixaxiscontroller
Man, this just made the shield way more appealing to me, when it comes to Australia I will buy it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dancingpixelstudios.sixaxiscontroller
If this app doesn't support your phone, use the Game Klip.
If I can play Doom 3 on my device it can handle HL2. Waiting on a way around the device restriction assuming it doesn't truly require Tegra
You could edit your build.prop to look like a Shield and buy it, but it probably won't work on non-tegra devices
Portal is 7 years old and they still had to make it look like a mobile game.
It Looks fantastic for a portable game.
