I think the creator of this game was inspired by Finding Nemo
It's not that hard to make a bad game. Just don't put effort into it and sell it.
The official website of the game can't even get the name of the game right.
Wildlife : Fish Simulator

Widlife : Fish Game

Zen fish game
Seriously, why the fuck does Steam sell this shit? Why doesn't Valve at least make a fucking effort to curate their market?
At least airplane simulator was sorta funny, this is just sad
Literally Bleach soundtrack near the end at 11:44. I also somehow doubt this guy had the rights to use this. Pretty sure it's not public domain
it dawned on me at the ending of the video that the game was not 1st person and you werent swimming with your clown fish dad. Holy shit that is a terrible 3rd person camera.
Seriously, why the fuck does Steam sell this shit? Why doesn't Valve at least make a fucking effort to curate their market?
Because regardless of how bad it is, it makes them money and refunds are minimal/nonexistent. No skin off their back.
I wonder if the translation of the game is bad too. :v:
Was this made in China or something? I mean holy fuck, it's just beyond horrible, it's an insult to everything and everyone without any attempt at comedy or competence. A 9 year old with a copy of Game Maker could have done better than this.
Lol, the sound effect that plays when under water is stolen from.. HL2. Pretty much proof that valve doesn't actually play these games before greenlighting them.
The environments dont actually look that bad, however everything else looks shit.
The environments dont actually look that bad, however everything else looks shit.
it looks like something i could make posing in gmod in 10 minutes. this is in every way terrible.
Christ that shark animation. RIP steam
I fucking burst out laughing when the fish got in a car crash. This is absolutely garbage, not worth a penny, but it does have that sort of weird charm to it that you can only get from something extremely half-assed with a vague facade of believing it's actually good. I'm sort of glad it exists, but I'm very disappointed that it got onto Steam.
Surely they're going to get sued to death for using the freddy music?
ahaha holy shit their website
Playing this game replaces psychologists, meditation and yoga !

ahaha holy shit their website
One simple trick to attaining inner peace. Yoga trainers hate us!
One simple trick to attaining inner peace. Yoga trainers hate us!
Raech nirvana in just 5 hours or money back
Lol, the sound effect that plays when under water is stolen from.. HL2. That's the entire point of the greenlight system [editline]21st September 2014[/editline] is this you
uh, they don't. That's the entire point of the greenlight system
The point of Greenlight is to let the users vote on what games they'd like to see on Steam, that doesn't mean Valve shouldn't look at the games at all.
Seriosuly? Zen Fish? Did they really steal my Steam name? Or did they just come up with something random?
The point of Greenlight is to let the users vote on what games they'd like to see on Steam, that doesn't mean Valve shouldn't look at the games at all.
You're right in thinking what greenlight should be. But the point of the greenlight system (In valve's eyes) was to cut out the middle man (valve) who would check the games before publishing it on steam, so players could get what they want. (hence "Greenlighting" a game to be allowed on steam) Well, we can see how that turned out. Now the system you and I agree on is that greenlight is supposed to be really called Spotlight, as in the spotlight the players put on a game they find interesting, and that valve would check for quality, then valve would greenlight it if it was good.
