And WHY do they have computers controlling the PLC's hooked up to the Internet?? And if they AREN'T connected to the outside world sans power, why the hell aren't the employees careful about what they stick in to the computers??
So this worm that was meant to disable uranium bombs became a virus?
Why do they need a nuclear program in the first place?
Why do they need a nuclear program in the first place?
For nuclear research, you could assume.
So this worm that was meant to disable uranium bombs became a virus?
What It is a virus, it's designed to destroy centrifuges and stuff
So, do they actually cite any evidence, or are they just speculating out the ass?
...however there is no hard evidence to link either country to the creation of Stuxnet.
Oh, okay. So, in other words, this isn't news.
...a leading security expert has claimed.
Nope. Apparently, the BBC is just a blog.

[editline]4th March 2011[/editline]
Why do they need a nuclear program in the first place?
Same reason as everyone else; nuclear power, and it's a clean source of energy.
It's pretty obvious Israel was behind it.
It's pretty obvious that this is supposed to be a news post. It's pretty obvious that this isn't news. It's pretty obvious that Israel would want to create Stuxnet. It's not obvious whether Stuxnet is an attempt at framing. [editline]4th March 2011[/editline] I was pretty excited to learn of hard evidence on the culprit of Stuxnet, because, secretly, I wanted it to be the United States. Instead, blog post.
It's not obvious whether Stuxnet is an attempt at framing.
Iran's nuclear power program is the source of their national pride. They wouldn't deliberately destroy most of it just to blame another nation nor would they deny any damage done to their reactor if they really wanted to frame someone.
You don't need hard evidence to link Israel to the Stuxnet.
So, we have an opinion based on no hard fact that appears to be very likely. It is a blog post. Now, we have an "expert" voice that opinion, with no hard facts to back it up. It is now news.
I'm pretty there might be if BBC included the contents and the evidence he provided in the conference.

...however there is no hard evidence to link either country to the creation of Stuxnet.
I'm not saying Israel is not the culprit. I'm saying that this news post isn't news, and as such, it shouldn't be treated as fact.
So this worm that was meant to disable uranium bombs became a virus?
it became a virus... THEN IT BECAME... ok, this post is about to get SUPER lame, but here it goes IT BECAME THE DESTROYER OF THE WORLD Holy crap I am stupid, please, just give me dumb ratings, I don't deserve anything more. :frown:
It's pretty obvious Israel was behind it. [editline]4th March 2011[/editline] Same reason as everyone else; nuclear power, and it's a clean source of energy.
Seems a bit of a waste, what megacities do Iran have that need that much power? Sure it's clean energy but the risks associated with nuclear power outweigh the benefits.
Seems a bit of a waste, what megacities do Iran have that need that much power? Sure it's clean energy but the risks associated with nuclear power outweigh the benefits.
Starpluck also said why they were doing it, if it wasn't for cheap energy. National pride
Iran's nuclear power program is the source of their national pride. They wouldn't deliberately destroy most of it just to blame another nation nor would they deny any damage done to their reactor if they really wanted to frame someone.
Just like their medium range missiles which they tested a couple of years ago. Remember that missile which didn't make it off it's launch pad before it failed, and then they doctored the image to show 4 missiles taking off? That was at the heart of their national pride then, and it was faked by them. No, I cannot trust Iran's nuclear power program, nor what their current illegitimate Government says about it.
Seems a bit of a waste, what megacities do Iran have that need that much power? Sure it's clean energy but the risks associated with nuclear power outweigh the benefits.
Who the fuck are you to judge about another countries power management. America?
