Halo 4 HD Flood Gameplay - General

So just a day or two ago IGN released the first HD screen captured gameplay of the new game mode called "Flood" in Halo 4. It looks really cool, you get to play as actual infected flood with claws instead of just spartans with energy swords! [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPbT_uvP5jY&feature=plcp[/media]

Eh, I think most everybody guessed the flood mode was going to be a version of 'infection' with some new models. Still a nice touch though.

Still a nice touch though.[/QUOTE] To be honest I had totally forgotten about infection and didn't even think about it being in halo 4, I guess it was expected but to have claws and stuff is pretty cool. Going to be at least as popular as slayer.

I thought it was going to be something more developed, but meh, I'm not really complaining that they made custom models for a popular gamemode.

Infection is one of my favorite things about Halo, along with BTB and free for all slayer.

Plus the fact that the claws play just like energy swords gives it the same feel so it's still the good ole' infection.

Looks awesome! I really can't wait to play this in Halo and it's really cool how this all started as a random community game mode made in halo 2.

They taunted us some time ago with having "System requirements forthcoming" at the bottom of the landing page.

I wonder when ms will stop paying everyone to call 720p hd and not sd. I would want 2160p as full hd and 1080p as hd instead.

Gaming, TV, movie industries still consider it HD, because it still is. How exactly is Microsoft paying people to call 720p HD? That's a very dumb thing to say as most HD media still regard it as HD. If it makes you feel any better, people refer to 1080p as True HD or Full HD.

Then you can see your own spartan turn into a "flood".
