I feel like they should have picked someone else for Tonto, Johnny Depp just seems like he was chosen simply because they wanted his name in the credits. Plus his accent seems way off Native American.
Not another johnny depp movie; he is a pretty good actor but really overused his movies feel all the same.
The movie will be more centered on Depp than the main character. May as well call it 'Cowboys of New Mexico: On Stranger Sands'
Johnny Depp is: a funny native american character. Yeah, sure. Get a couple beers, some nachos and a fuck load of Jalapeños and you got a day out. Whatever.
"Starring Johnny Depp as-" Nope, stop right there Disney, I'm not buying it this time. Enough with Johnny, he's overused, just stop.
The trailer actually looked like just another Pirates movie. Obviously with some scenery changes etc
I still like Johnny...

What I love most is how it looks. Looks beautifully shot and the scenery is amazing. I just hate how carter is in it with depp.
By the looks of it, it is a continuation of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
Ohhhh this looks good though.
I loved the first 3 Pirates movies. They are my favorite Adventure Epics second only to the Lord of the Rings. This movie, on the other hand, looks and feels like Pirates. Obviously it's expected, seeing as it's made by the same people, but even Johnny feels like he's playing Jack Sparrow, except this time he's hiding out in the old west masquerading as a Native American. Will probably be a CGI fest, but Pirates was as well. What made Pirates were the characters and their chemistry, along with the fantastic world. Hopefully this movie finds a way to set itself apart and doesn't just become another Stranger Tides.
most unfitting role for johnny depp, if this is a serious movie then its multiplied X10

Leave Depp alone! He's going through a tough time. JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE!
I like Johnny Depp and all, but he's in more movies than Nicolas Cage when he wants more money.
This is the only movie he's in this year, and he was really only in one last year. You guys act like he's in a movie every month.
