Video is almost a year old now but I only recently saw it myself. Kind of neat.
tbh it's stupidly amusing to see how long it takes to find some easter eggs
And to think the only proof was a sketchy looking video from 8 years ago. I can't imagine how many other secrets are still hidden out there. Even in popular games that have millions of players.
Wasn't there a secret in one of the batman games that wasn't discovered until 2 years later?
Also from his channel. This is some good unintentional creepypasta.

It amazes me that even with data-mining stuff like this stays hidden for years.
With all these mysteries and myths in games, why don't people just ask the developers about said mysteries? Like with the freezer from the above video, why don't they just ask someone from the dev team (if they are still around) if it's a glitch or an easter egg of sorts.

This one was actually revealed developers, instead of a player discovery... since nobody found it , even after city was announced
I'm pretty sure that Halo 3 still has some, if not all of the Halos by Bungie. Bungie is notorious for Easter Eggs. They had fun yanking our chain in any way.
The biggest surprise to me here was that there was saints row 1

Yes, the savefile can be corrupted easily but NOT the disk. There is no way in hell that this can be happening on a technical level.
It's not often that you have the original game's graphics aging better than the sequel. Then again, Saints Row 2 didn't get much praise for its graphics even when it was released.

That people who found the bug just so happened to forget about the HDD install? I doubt it, it's never that simple, but how does the disk get FUBAR'd? There's too little information regarding before and after examinations of the physical disk to say if actual on-disk damage is the culprit. (not to be confused with in-disk, as in the data - which IIRC shouldn't even be possible with standard 360 hardware) Some people are speculating that the game might crash in such a spectacular fashion that it mucks with the xboxs BIOS and causes an erratic drive to damage the disk... but messing with the drive to use enough force to scratch a disk to an unreadable state, should also lead to a damaged disk drive as well... shouldn't it?
Was Saints 2 released before or after 360s started installing games by default?
Saints Row 2 was released in Oct, 2008. If I remember correctly, the ability to install games to the Xbox 360 HHD wasn't possible (read: possibly, going off by memory) until 2009 or early 2010.
Man i love this shit. Sketchy mid 2000's video game myths and legends. I remember my friend printing out a big list of San Andreas legends and we drove round the map trying to find them.

I think the guy just heavily misunderstood when people talked about the glitch messing up the game.

I love the amount of depth the older Saints Rows had, SR1 was criminally underrated.
What's weirder is when mrsaintsgodzilla unlocked it, the unlock screen message was slightly different than the original video - one more Y in the 'HEYYY' and a question mark at the end of the text.

And of course the GTA5 Bigfoot stuff.
God I hope the next Saints Row has some really creepy easter eggs in it. I love that sort of stuff.
I'm really skeptical this guy is a reliable source for all this. [editline]5th March 2018[/editline] Althought lots of comments are saying that they've pulled it off.

If we do, I can't imagine them going back to the good old days of better customisation because no tit physics.

If you set your PC to the date that Rocksteady Studios was founded, you could visit Calendar Man and hear some secret dialogue. The only reason people found it was because, once again, Rocksteady spilled the beans.
I love it when games have these weird mysterious easter eggs and the hunt to find them.
