Cant see much in your picture.
Try not to filter it.
I guess you'll have to keep practicing.
When coloring, set the blend mode to multiply (if you are using photoshop).
It retains the original shading/lineart, but allows you to change the color to whatever the hell you want. The tongue is messed up. The whole thing is sorta messed up, but the tongue is horrendous.
Your coloring lost a lot of detail.
In coloring, lineart serves as guidance for coloring.
You should follow the lineart and bring out something the lineart doesn't have at the same time without distorting the lineart.
This is how to make colored version feel more 'lively' than lineart does.
