"Perhaps this battle will resolve the eternal battle between good and evil."
What will they think of next?
Well, I got my request fulfilled:
Hyped as fuck.
Still waiting on that Narrator Dota 2 announcer pack, Cakebread.
This dude must be rolling in moolah
"Ah, the tango. The poor man's divine rapier." All of those are pretty good.
bread
Makes me want to play DOTA2 again
What will they think of next?
Well, Justin Roiland is apparently interested in a Rick & Morty announcer pack, so there you go.
DIGITAL SPORTS
I don't even play Dota, but I might start just so I can use this sound-pack
Do we actually know who the Narrator is yet? Last I heard, he sent all his lines anonymously.
it's a british voice actor called Kevan Brighting - https://twitter.com/kevanthevoice
"Look at your bottom barracks. Look at how under attack they are."
Jesus christ

I wish I could play Dota2, but when a game needs up to like 3 months to get decent at it, that just doesn't seem worth it to me.
God dammit they got a Dr. Kleiner voice pack, now I really want to get into this. Fuuuuuck why is Dota2 so IMPOSSIBLY HARD.

Train with easy bots, play easy heroes in the bot matches like, wraith king or Riki, or even bloodseeker, you'll get good at the game

Do this for maybe your first five games to get a feel for the game, past that it won't help anymore.
I'd say play bots for 5 games and then join a few friends and play in regular queue. Bots don't help you learn something like how to survive in lane, you should jump into regular queue asap.
Still waiting on my Gordon Freeman voice pack Valve...

Dota isnt that hard. It just has a steep 1st time learning curve.
I would seriously reccomend you to play with mostly support heroes like Treant Protector(gives you a much better map awareness) Keeper Of the Light, Lich and carries like Sven, CK.
I thought I heard this came out awhile ago?
It was announced/teases a while ago.
"Have you considered that perhaps the enemy team is all new to dota? What a horrible first experience you must be giving them."
Met the voice actor at the BAFTA nominees party. He's a really chill guy.

what i did for the first few games is play bots by myself. After i familiarized myself with the basics (items/heroes and roles i like) i started playing Player vs bot games, then played regular games
you should also read up on some guides and make use of the in-game guide downloader (The book icon on the top left of the screen.) These will help you teach the basics of each character and what items you should usually buy.
a great thing to read for beginners, despite being a tiny bit outdated:

once you get past the beginner problems, Dota instantly becomes really fun. I felt the same way when i first started playing.
Also while your learning to play dota, watch tournaments that happen (the upcoming International 2014 would be a good example). You can learn new things while watching.
Buy this announcer bundle ten times and help secure the future of DIGITAL SPORTS
Wait, what time does Digital Sports happen?
I want to relive it.
Oh never mind, 17:21

Honestly, the hardest part about dota are your teammates
[editline]16th May 2014[/editline]
It's like a RTS game but with only few units (hero, courier, illusions and on some heroes little creeps and copies)
