I think this is actually inspired a lot by Silent Hill if not obviously PT more notably. The decayed environment being universal to the franchise, the never-ending same but different hallway, the doll in the sink looks like a reference to the fetus and the body in the tub also a reference to when you hear a murder occur in the tub, and the way it was narrated just screamed SH. I'm sure there is more if anyone else wants to mention.
