I simply could not stop laughing all the way through.
The episode before that I was surprised to see the Clockworck Orange reference in there and lauged pretty hard about it. But THIS EPISODE... MY GOD.
The references were everywhere! And I got all if not most of them.
There were references to:
My Neigbor Totoro
Batman Begins
That fucking annoying Nike commercial
and im sure there were more but I forget them.
Were there any more? Also, opinions on this episode and the trilogy itself.
I didn't even know South Park was still airing new episodes.
It's as bad as Family Guy and The Simpsons now.

No, it really isn't.

Not so much, the last two seasons were pretty funny.
But why make a thread
Is Mysterion supposed to be a rip on rorschach? It's hilarious

No, it's far better than both of those combined now.

More Batman than Rorschach

Interesting.
Perhaps I might have another reason, besides Futurama, to watch Comedy Central now.
From what I've been hearing, season 15 will be the end of South Park.
Oh FucK! I forgot about the new episode!
I though this one was disappointing compared to the first two of these three. I really liked the concept of the first Coon episode, but this one was really lacking depth.

It was simply renewed for 3 more seasons. It just means if South Park sucks really hard all of the sudden next season, then it will be cancelled. At this rate, it isn't likely.
I guess the title Mysterion Rises was a take on the new Batman film title: The Dark Knight Rises... pretty clever.

Stop stealing people's air.

How?
South Park > The Simpsons > Family Guy > American Dad! > The Cleveland Show

Sad. I've been watching South Park as long as I've been playing GTA!

Believe it or not that doesn't change the fact that I've been watching south park as long as I've been playing GTA.

That's when the contract ends, it will probably be renewed.
I liked the reference to A Clockwork Orange.
On the South Park Studio forums there's a decent amount of talk about 15 being the last season.
"South Park" co-creator and executive producer Trey Parker says they’ve been discussing how to end the Comedy Central flagship series, which has been on the air for more than a decade. But you won’t hear Cartman say, "Screw you guys! I’m going home," just yet.
Old interview, but they really don't intend on trying to keep the show alive for as long as they can. I think it'll be on for a good bit more time, but I don't think they'll start going into the 20th season..
