I understand he got a new sound guy for his projects now but oh god what was going on with the SMG sounds, they where a mess. Not only are they replaced but in the last scene they where inconsistent, you could still hear the old SMG sounds under the new ones that where overlayed.

not sound like an asshole or anything but he have done HL1 by now and been working HL2.EP1/2 by now
If he's going to suddenly start replacing so many of the sounds, he may as well just switch to Black Mesa.

and then switch back once he reaches xen right?
he should atleast make a sound pack and replace the regular sounds with them
