Well if you've been in politics that long it might as well be true.
There's a sphincter where the esophagus meets the stomach, and another where the duodenum connects to the stomach. As well a bunch of others since sphincters are a type of structure and not a single part of the body.
Although I don't think either are voluntary muscles, so if she's shoved a sword into her stomach I imagine that be pretty fucking unpleasant.
