That's fucking disgusting. It's okay to discipline your kids (i.e. spanking) but this is downright abuse.
belongs in the videos forum this sort of punishment doesn't work effectively anyways
Yeah, there's actually two threads for this in there already.
Holy fuck. Why would he record it like.. Seriously, what the fuck.
belongs in the videos forum this sort of punishment doesn't work effectively anyways
Wanted to started a discussion around the whole subject
I would fight back. After all, she is 16 years old. But I can understand the fear that she had. But who recorded this? Her parents or her?
Holy fuck. Why would he record it like.. Seriously, what the fuck.
I think the daughter recorded it, so she would have some proof that her father beat her like this. That way his word didn't go against hers.
He's a judge, how does he not think aabout the possible LEGAL consequences [editline]1st November 2011[/editline] I just realized that he was from the south, which makes this slightly less surprising
Pretty bad, hell I find this sort of stuff worse than liveleak(?) war videos. Down right abuse I thought the mother (fucking whore) would have tried to stop calm the situation. Hope these cunts get the book thrown at them
Father of the Year. But really, I love how they say "You used to be a nice and obedient girl." Uhhh, shes sixteen right? thats usually when kids starting trying to get independent of their family and they start wanting to do their own thing.
You have no clue how mad this made me. Its fucking disgusting. I got so mad, that I called this fucker. While it was ringing, I was planning on all the things I was going to say to him. "You are a dirty, sick, fucking cunt. How fucking dare you ever hit a child like that. Do you have any clue on what kind of mental toll that can hold on a person? I hope you fucking die in a slow, horrible wa-" "The number you have reached has been disconnected."
Ooooh if I lived in United States...
Why exactly did he even do this? I doubt it was just for using the internet because, 1) That's stupid. 2) I heard something about computer games in there.
Actually, if anything, this made me love and appreciate my family and my parents even more. I just got up and hugged my mom, dad, and brother after viewing it. I truly feel sorry for the girl. I hope everything is alright for her now (seeing as the video was recorded in 2004).
It's okay to discipline your kids (i.e. spanking)
any physical "discipline" is abuse plain and simple. children only understand that you are causing physical pain for something and that has terrible consequences on a child's development. disciplining your kids does not mean you have to cause physical harm and it's a disgusting concept. [editline]1st November 2011[/editline] holy fuck what's wrong with these people. it doesn't stop either.
I hope the fucker goes down.
I'm willing to bet he'll get a slap on the wrist, or because it's the south, he'll get let off scott-free because the jury said "NOW THERE'S A GOOD CHRISTIAN FATHER KEEPIN HIS KIDS OUTTA HELL, HE SHOULD GET A MEDAL!"
I seriously had to run around my neighborhood to blow off the anger. Even when I was done, I still had enough energy to punch a shampoo bottle that I bought earlier which broke in half and now shampoo is everywhere. Damn you, William Adams. This shampoo is on my hands because of you.
Apparently this was recorded in 2004, and since. His wife has divorced him due to the violence and the daughter is living a happy life away from him. Not sure what happened to the judge but I would assume he was removed from his position.

Reminds me of the dark times in my life when my mother had us living with her abusive boyfriend. Hurts like hell man...
As someone who has been spanked before (when I was very little), I can relate to this. Although it doesn't happen anymore, (thanks to my Dad not being retarded and understanding I've grown up from that) this brings back terrifying memories and I feel nothing but hatred for that girl's father. Seriously, this is fucked up. That is beyond disciplining.
that has terrible consequences on a child's development
Such as?
Terrible consequences on a child's development? Yeah okay I guess that means most people in America including myself had a terrible broken childhood.
the argument i always hear when i say it has terrible consequences is that people immediately draw it themselves to excuse it. i don't know anything about you or your childhood and i'm not really at liberty to judge. i do know that from reading studies and research into physical punishment it simply doesn't do anything to make the child more obedient. most studies actually show that children who are physically punished become less obedient except for when they are around their parents. they also show to be much more physically aggressive as they learn that violence is the primary way to show discontent or disapproval as opposed to expressing it using their words. these are scientific facts, we know that. i don't know if you are a violent person or you had an amazing childhood or bla bla it doesn't even fucking matter. we know by research that it damages a child's development and of course it's morally also questionable. i don't see any reason for why this amazingly barbaric practice should be allowed. it doesn't work, it hurts children, and allows too much leeway for idiots like this to abuse their children. this isn't about you.
With the way the wife was acting with the whole, "Take it like a woman." I think she's just as guilty.
Apparently she was forced
what a fucking asshole i hope he gets whats coming to him
Apparently she was forced
yeah and looking at the description she was also abused and does regret abusing the daughter.
When did I say this was about me? I'm just saying, a lot of people in America were spanked at least once as a kid and they didn't grow up to be aggressive unobedient psychopaths that hate their parents.
well first of all, you said "including myself". you don't really know who was spanked in america or not, the only accurate information you have i'm pretty sure is just you. second of all i never said "aggressive obedient psychopaths that hate their parents", those are you words not mine and i don't even agree with that assertion. is it only a problem till it becomes the absolute extreme? no, that's bullshit. i don't care who was spanked and i don't care what they grew up to become, that's not valid data that's just a random assertion. however, the research gone into it is valid empirical date that speaks for itself. if you want to defend physical punishment (read: abuse) then go ahead but don't pretend that you are speaking for anyone but yourself. you should only speak for yourself. i'm just quoting what i've read and it's pretty certain to say people should not be allowed to hit their children. if they grew up to be good adjusted human beings then that's great, but that doesn't make all the people who've suffered from abuse disappear.
