Autistic Boy Charged With Making Terrorist Threats Over A Stick-Figure Sketch With A Gun
SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - A fourteen-year-old autistic boy is facing terrorist charges after a sketch he made in school.
The sketch shows two stick-figures. One of them is labeled ‘Me’ and is shown shooting a gun at another with a teacher’s name above it.
Karen Finn says that her son, 8th grader Shane Finn, doesn’t understand why he is in trouble. She says the boy is autistic and has the mental capacity of a 3rd grader.
Officials at Ridgeview Charter School say the student will face a tribunal and is being charged with making terrorist threats.
Finn says she plans to fight the charges.
Wow, Morons these days.
Terrorist charges? I think that might be a tad overboard.
So if you draw a picture of an alien spaceship destroying a city, do you wake up in Area 51?

You've got to tackle them at a young age. Next thing you know he might draw the Prophet Muhammad and then the shit will really hit the fan.
Jesus chirst! This kid's depicting someone being shot! Holy mother of fuck he's a fucking terrorist! Get the bomb squad in, this retard here might blow us up!
It was clearly a very intricate and detailed terrorist plot.
Stick figures with guns are the new threat to our national security.

I believe this is the image in question.
It gives me chills just looking at it.

Why is the kid holding a dong?
If that guy got arrested for something as simple as that, I'm pretty sure I'd end up in some sort of cell for the rest of my life if the police saw the sort of stuff that I drew.
Mind you, I didn't mention any names, so maybe that was the reason.
The boys only using his freedom of expression in an artistic manner.
If he can get terrorist charges for that then I'm surprised I haven't been sentenced to life in prison or death yet.

holy fuck...
The image was obviously depicting Mohammad Al-Jarala Me, the famous terrorist.
Not only that but he's autistic.
Thats like making a base in Gmod and blowing it up with a nuke, then being branded a terrorist. :geno:
Just what? :raise:

More like, autistic manner, amirite?
Nobody panic! Jack Bauer will be here shortly.
Once again, aa school board acts like a bunch of douchebags
My cousin did something similar at that age and he has the same disability. He only got suspended for 1 week though and nothing else

Since when did autism mean severely retarded mental facilities?
That pic is really disturbing.

Well thank god it's not something that can be easily replicated or we'd be in all sorts of shit.
Why is he pointing at Mr. S?
The trigger is larger than normal because he's autistic.
Schools always flip out about shit like this for some reason.
A kid in my year did a similar thing when we were nine, got suspended for like three weeks (it wasn't a gun though, he drew a storm cloud electrocuting another student).
"Back in America... Terrorists everywhere."
I wonder why I haven't been executed yet due to the large amount of "threats" I have drawn in my notebook.
