how do you compare to beatles to ozzy osbourne
a better comparison would be the beatles and black sabbath because they both defined a genre of music but even then, there's still no way to compare both bands
Iron Maiden.
Don't like either

Doesn't Ozzy Osbourne eat chicken's heads on stage?
Ahaha i love how everybody has already become a custom to the fact that this thread will immediately become a massive shitstorm.

I think he bit the head off a bat, but he thought it was a toy.
Brutal
Could someone translate what ozzy says at the last bit of this video :psyduck:

Was I the one who told you that?
Yeah, he bit the head off a bat onstage because he thought it was a rubber toy. He thought someone in the crowd threw it on, but upon reflection he realized it was probably flying about and went mental because of the lights and noise until it hit something and dropped to the ground. He also ate a dove's head to "impress" some record company.

Well they're both overrated pop groups so it really is a fair comparison.
Not really a fair comparison imo
Well they're both overrated pop groups so it really is a fair comparison.
Ozzy Osbourne? Pop Group?
Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath
What about them?
How the hell does one compare Ozzy and The Beatles? They aren't even slightly related musically.

I haven't listened so much to The Beatles, but Ozzy is not overrated. He respectfully earned his fame back in the 70's for being the vocalist of a band that was one of the most influential pioneers of Metal. Back when they first started no one had heard anything like it before!
What about them?
He should have compared The Beatles to Black Sabbath instead of Ozzy Osbourne.
Still a stupid comparison, but at least they both pioneered their chosen musical tastes. So you could compare their influence.
Ozzy Osbourne? Pop Group?
Yes, Ozzy is actually the pioneer of an entire new genre. Pop metal.
Black Sabbath died after Ozzy left his lead vocal role. They should've disbanded at that point anyway.

I dunno, Mob Rules was pretty good.
It wasn't truly Black Sabbath then. They should've rebranded. But yes, Dio was great for that album.
I agree with Akayz
Dio era was good in its own right but it was not Sabbath at all.

I agree with this statement. It's not the only one, but his new album just reeks of desperation.

Black sabbath was horrible until dio showed up.
old sabbath is only sabbath
