Idi Amin and The Degrading of music: Rap and Metal

Hello there folks, Idi Amin here, president of Africa.

As you probably all know, over the past 15 years or so, the overall quality of music in all fields has dropped dramatically. Leaving many fans to seek alternate bands and "underground" "stuff", which they eventually defend religiously in desperation.

I digress, my thesis here is simple: Metal and Rap are of equal low quality. Both main and sub stream.

Example one, [b]Teenage Angst[/b] and why in Gods name you would want to listen to a song about people fighting turds for money weed and pussy.

At age 12-13 (roughly) males enter a process known as Puberty. During this phase many hormones are released causing abnormal behavior that older members of society dread due to it's significant lack of intelligence and high levels of angsty behavior. This behavior is why I believe that this age group (of significant population here on facepunch and the internet as a whole) from all backgrounds listens to Metal and rap music about people killing each other and being particularly brutal. As children in puberty they identify themselves with being the most important being and thus incredibly hardcore as a person because they are so awesome.

Notice how most grown adults don't listen to either musics? Maybe because mature audiences don't want to listen to garbage about selling drugs, being hard, boners, sex, vikings, idiotic political ideals and violence for no other reason than being hard core.

Just stop angsting like a bunch of sheep for 5 minutes and think about this topic like a mature adult. Nobody but you thinks you're hardcore. And music does not make you hitler.

Conclusion,

Rap and metal are both of low quality and are solely produced by record companies to make extreme profit at a low cost to manufacture. Thats right, "manufacture". They do not grow bullshit on trees.
