that looks incredibly dangerous
wow there is almost no room for error there, that's a hella skilled pilot
Hopefully this makes it's way into the video game world.
Imagine buying that thing. Helicopter Chainsaw x1.
Instantly remembered The World is Not Enough, they featured pretty prominently in the film.
Looks like something you'd find in a Dead Rising game.
wmd right there
Reminded me of this 2:10

So that's what they use to trim the trees that are growing close to local power lines. I didn't figure it was a huge fucking sawblade, but I always sort of hoped it was.
this is probably the most badass thing i've seen this month. the skill and concentration of that pilot is admirable.
I saw one of these last year, they're really cool.
Looks like something father grigori would make
Looks like a boss from Super Meat Boy.
Imagine all of the bird's nests that got sliced and diced by that thing

And then the Helicopter descends into a spiral and starts chopping every tree into pieces. "Black&Decker Down"
Cuts through trees like a hot knife through butter. Damn.
That's not even a chainsaw, those are circular saw blades!!! Looks even more dangerous!
I still think a lot of commercial pilots are waaaaayyyyy more skilled than some military pilots. Keeping that thing straight and cutting is just another example to add to the checklist.
Why? Because it's cool.
I still think a lot of commercial pilots are waaaaayyyyy more skilled than some military pilots. Keeping that thing straight and cutting is just another example to add to the checklist.
If you look through the videos, the overwhelming majority of helicopters used for maintaining the lines are variants of the MD-500. While the pilots are super skilled, a lot of it is also that the md-500 (aka the oh-6 loach or Mh-6 "littlebird") is just stupidly agile. Stuff you'd never dream of doing in a blackhawk is made to appear effortless by those things. If memory serves, only the night stalkers still operate them for the US military. A few other militaries use MD-500 variants as well. They don't have the best lift, greatest speed, or even decent endurance, but those helicopters have hummingbird-like agility.
That is one Big Fucking Chainsaw [t]http://ih1.redbubble.net/image.13175770.4999/fc,550x550,white.jpg[/t]

So how much would one of these cost.
Let's hope ISIS doesn't get hold of one of those...
That's not even a chainsaw, those are circular saw blades!!! Looks even more dangerous!
Well, I mean--it is a chain of saws. Probably the most literal definition of a Chainsaw there is.
