Okay, so I noticed we were lacking something huge - a section where you can post samples and your flips of them. Why is this important? Samples not only sound awesome, but they broaden our taste in music. So, without further adieu... Rules: Try to find a youtube link of the sample (if possible). Even if you don't have an immediate flip, it's good to post a sample. Include the name of the sample (if you know it). I'll add more as the thread gets bigger. Sample (old gold, probably used quite a bit): One by Three Dog Night My Flip: Sample: Rainy Night in Georgia (David Ruffin Version) My Flip: NOW, POST SOME SAMPLES!
lmao, you really like J Dilla don't you? I don't know if there are that many producers on facepunch who do sample based music like Hip Hop. I do though, so sure I'll give it a shot. Oh and, get your drums from breaks, using library stuff usually sounds pretty shit on rap. automerge is late

Often I'll find sections of songs that have drum breaks and I'll export the individual drums and then use them.
