So, I got a MicoKorg ~6 months ago for Christmas. Luckily, I've retained some skill from the piano lessons I was forced to take 3rd and 4th grade. I feel that I'm pretty proficient with it now, and I'd like to start using it with FL Studio, as I personally find it to be a lot easier to use than my keyboard. I've looked for a good interface/adapter/whatever it is I need, but all I've found are dirt cheap ones that have bad reviews, or ones that are really expensive. Does anyone know of a decent one that doesn't cost more than $100?
Help's appreciated, and thanks.
I bought a cheap one a while ago. It really was a Chinese no name thing for 5€ but it worked absolutely fine and there is absolutely no difference to the MIDI my audio interface came with.
M-Audio KeyRig 49 if you are looking for a keyboard.
I already have a nice MicroKorg, don't need another keyboard. So a cheap adapter will be fine then?
I suppose.
Oh also, you'll need ASIO output. If your interface doesn't support it, google "ASIO4all".
Well Fruity Loops came with ASIO4all installed, does that work?
Yes. Adjust it so you get the best performance with the best quality. It's a balancing act. Also, read up on the controls before you do so.
