Alright I'm here on a quest too find good beef jerky brands/recipes.
My Beef Jerky:
x10 Thin Fish or other meat slices
x1 Bottle of Teriyaki Juice(You can ask yourself how much you want :3 )
A cup of pineapple juice(Use pulp if you freshly cut pineapple).
1/5 cup of salt
For Dehydrator:
1.Alright, once you got all the ingredients you take the teriyaki juice and salt first and begin too mix them together till the salt has settled enough where it is not visible.
2.After the juice settles take your meat strips and procede to put them in the juice and begin using your hands to mix the juice with the meat.
3.As soon as the meat begins to absorb all of the liquid take your pineapple juice and combine it into the mixture and repeat what you did in Step 2.
4. Let meat marinate in your fridge for about five hours ,and bring it out repeating Step 2 for about five minutes.
5. Take some paper towels and put them on your counter, this step is where you begin to take the meat and dry it out till it's sorta like a rare steak(juicy but somewhat dried)
6. Take the strips of meat and begin to organize the strips on your dehydrator
7. Let the jerky dehydrate for about 15-20 hours.
8. After it is crisped take the Jerky and let it cool down in a nice cool dark area for about 2-4 hours.
9. NOM NOM!
Oven Cooking (Oven Grilling)
I haven't done this in a while so I'll have to look around and try to find something to help me on this.
My favorite company brands of beef jerky are....
#1. Pemmican
#2. World Kitchen
#3. Oh boy! Oberto
How about you guys? Any special recipes or favorite brands?
My Recipe:
1. Hop in car.
2. Drive to gas station.
3. Let car settle while you go inside.
4. Buy appropriate ingredients.
5. Get in car and go back home.
6. Open ingredients.
7. Enjoy!
We just have Oberto and Jack Links here. I can't really say which is better.
My buddy makes the best jerky you will ever eat.
That recipe is distinctly not helpful if you've never made jerky before
Hehe, well I'm not sure if any of you have a dehydrator such as myself. I've cooked beef jerky both popular ways (dehydrator and oven grilling)
Let me edit the first post for you guys.
since we're on the subject of beef jerky anyways. Does anyone know if it's being sold anywhere outside of america? Like in the Netherlands I haven't ever seen it anywhere.
I thought they shipped Jack Links to Europe but I'm not sure on every exact area... My best idea would be, if you can't find it, make it! :3
Man, I love those huge pieces that 7-11 sells; they're like monstrous slabs of beef jerky that are nearly 3 dollars. But they taste so absolutely delicious.
Deer Jerky is pretty good.

you're right. I just checked jack link's European site and it seems a super market near me sells it. Gonna take a look when I'm done working :haw:

I don't think we have 7/11's in Europe :raise:
No 7/11's.... HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU EVEN LIVE?!
by having other shops for our European convenience :science:
Hehe, true,true.
I like the chew, it's good by itself, but if you like ramen, dump some into a bowl and mix it up, fucking delicious.

Yeah, we get them in Australia. We have Jack Links. Try your gas station. Or make it yourself.
I've had beef jerky a few times, and it's something that I feel like I should be enjoying a lot but don't.
Possibly the brand I've been eating.
Jack Link's is the best beef jerky in the world.

Soo Beef Jerky is the best. Everything else is as hard as wood.

lucky you, There aint any in the Netherlands atleast.
Also I found the supermarket that sells jack link's. After work I'll buy a pack and hope I'll like it :keke:
beef jerkey and yogurt yum
I fucking love teriyaki beef jerky.
It's not true beef jerky though, true beef jerky is dried out as fuck and brittle, and is an acquired taste. This teriyaki shit is more like meat chews.
I haven't had beef jerky, I gotta get me some...
But, anyone here ever had pepperettes? They're like dried up sausages, and they're fucking delicious. I swear they have a bunch of salt on them, and it tastes like heaven in a cylindrical-like piece of meat. I love em!
