At first I thought this was satire but then with the increasing depths of insanity that SJWs/moral guardians are reaching I may be proved wrong as there seem to be one or two people taking this seriously.

Pretty sure the point of that petition is just people jumping on the idiotic bandwagon after the whole "Tracer's sexual-even-though-it's-not-sexual pose needs to be removed!" thing that happened recently and trying to make more of a joke out of it. I mean yeah, there's obviously a small handful of people in there that are probably serious about supporting it, but I don't see that petition ever being successful, not even as a joke.
I wouldn't underestimate the petition. Remember the last time we underestimated someone?

It is very clearly making fun of the removal of the pose.
I'm gonna treat this as satire, But I actually hope Blizzard takes it seriously, just so they learn to think for themselves instead of people crying about their feelings.
It's just satire. There might be a flood of outraged babies complaining about the petition, but nothing will come out of it.

Yeah it's satire, and I guarantee almost all those signatures are people going "tee hee I'm signing this because it would be hilarious if it became popular".
For April Fool's Blizzard actually goes ahead and removes all the guns for one day, making all matches for that day melee-only.
I signed the petition. It's deeply traumatic that in the year 2016 a company as large as Blizzard thinks it's okay to release a video game where you are allowed to use guns to senselessly murder women and people of color.

people screamed and complained about sjw taking over, but that isn't the case considering that there are other characters that are pretty sexualised (nothing wrong with it, as far as I know) that aren't being touched because it's their art style.
