So I'm sitting at the computer browsing facepunch when I hear a strange noise coming from the kitchen, I go to investigate and find my cat and a small bird involved in a scuffle. As I approached the pair my cat backs off and the bird stops moving, so I assume it's dead. Naturally I called my cat a bitch, and start towards the cupboard under the stairs to find a shoebox to take the bird outside in. But suddenly! As I turn away the bird jumps up and makes a dash for freedom under the table. I grabbed my cat under the stomach as he lunged for it and threw him outside as the bird cowers in fear. I gently lift him up in a tea towel and carry him out the front door whilst my cat dives back into the room to tear it apart in search for Mr. Birdy. I lowered him into a clump of bushes a bit away from my house so my cat can't find him again where he wobbled off to freedom and (hopefully) his family. Rate hearts for saving a cute things life? A picture of the perpetrator. You can see the evil in his eyes :ohdear: tl;dr - Read the topic title. Update : A few hours ago I went out with my friends and passed a large hedge at the side of my house, guess what I saw beside it. :smithicide: The stupid bird tried to get back into my house and either died from its wounds or a second sneak attack from my cat. D'aw. If it's wing is damaged it'll probably die, though.

Something fucked up happened a few months ago. I was just chilling on my computer, browsing facepunch, when suddenly I hear a raptor screech, and something hits my window - hard. I look up, and I see a splatter of blood running down it. I naturally rush outside and I find this tiny rabbit with massive bruising on my driveway. It was still alive, but I bet it had heavy internal bleeding. I took it inside, cleaned it up, and tried giving it water, but it wouldn't drink. In the end, I couldn't help it, and I wouldn't let it suffer. So I put my boots on, took it outside, and crushed its skull. Sucks.

The cat will be able to smell the bird. Don't worry, when your cat eats it, at least it's wing won't hurt anymore!
Rated you heart @CourageDog
Avatar fits
Rated box for being dumb. You should have let your cat rip the bird into shreds. :unsmith:
The cat will be able to smell the bird.
No it won't.

3 years ago, I found a hurt baby bird while taking a walk, I took it to a place that helps found injured wild animals in the park and they said it had a twisted back but they didn't think it was broken and said it should be ok, but they said if they couldn't fix him, they would have to put him down so he wouldn't be in so much pain. Never found out if he was ok ):
:colbert:
What? It is groovy. :smug:
Dude, birds never survive stuff like that. It'll end up dead anyway, they tend to die from shock or internal injuries you can't see.
same sort of thing happened to me, I hear a huge crash and it turns out a bird has flown through my back door, turned around and hit the window, it crapped everywhere, I opened the window and it just fell straight down, I think it's okay now though.
Dude, birds never survive stuff like that. It'll end up dead anyway, they tend to die from shock or internal injuries you can't see.
It hopped off quite happily though, so I'm hoping it didn't get injured too bad :ohdear:
