Every time I try to play Second Life as a joke things get too real. I always end up talking to people about their real lives. So many lonely people.

we did that once but then people stopped playing and the facepunch clubhouse got overrun by actual furries and roleplayers

By this point the main reason why people even bother to play SL is just for the weirdness / cringe factor alone.
Dunkey posting this definitely isn't going to help in that case since 1). Second Life is still a bit obscure around some circles and 2). Dunkey's fanbase is huge.

Can you expand on this? I was having some trouble getting concise information. From what I gathered danielfromsl has apparently been harassing britbong for quite a while?

Honestly, being someone who actually goes to the FP place from time to time, it's honestly pretty dead except for simhopping (where the attendance is usually 3-5 people even then, maybe more than that on a good day). Not even the furries really touch the place.

The same thing happens to me. I go on there trying to just screw around and be silly and then I get into conversations with people and start making acquaintances...it's definitely not what I intended. And I kinda wish we had a Facepunch thread for it. The one we have has turned into people playing for real, and that's not a bad thing but it's not what I want to play Second Life for.
I know that in 06 a few of the old golds would make bank in SL. I think it was Hezzy, DaveP and Dav0r.
