whelp... time to take a vacation to America... On a serious note, it doesn't surprise me, something like this. Trump is stamping on many toes of people, insulting many cultures. Most drug lords and crime lords and people in those rings tend to have a fairly straight mind set and really hate bullshit. Out of bullshitters, Donald trumps them all. Heck, I'd rather vote El Chapo for president then Trump. These kind of people simply work with what they have got to achieve the best result or goal (for themselves usually, but if goals were alike.)

He's a potential candidate for the United States' 2016 Presidential Election and an extraordinarily wealthy/powerful man. A lot of Americans love/strongly approve of him. This would invoke godlike repercussions against the cartels, if it actually succeeded and he was assassinated. As controversial as Trump is, there's no way this would just be allowed to slide.
