Thousands of people are commiting e-suicide because they are too retarded to just log off and depend on a website to delete their accounts. I think this is only for social networks though. So if you are wasting too much time on [insert social network], then this website is for you. www.suicidemachine.org this shit is all over the news. From the website:
Faster, Safer, Smarter, Better Tired of your Social Network? Liberate your newbie friends with a Web2.0 suicide! This machine lets you delete all your energy sucking social-networking profiles, kill your fake virtual friends, and completely do away with your Web2.0 alterego. The machine is just a metaphor for the website which moddr_ is hosting; the belly of the beast where the web2.0 suicide scripts are maintained. Our service currently runs with Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and LinkedIn! Commit NOW!
there's more internet suicide websites out there now. What is the world coming when people don't have the willpower to press a button.
What a release
It's all over the news because it's a grey area concerning legality.
*blam* Anyway, anyone who spends too much time on myspace should commit suicide anyway.
clocks clocks cocks
Facebook disabled it from working
It's all over the news because it's a grey area concerning legality.
Why is this?
Why is this?
It's legal because they are supposed to destroy your data when you delete your account but they don't. It's illegal because you're forcing (or 'hacking') your way into their systems without their permission.
clocks clocks cocks
tard tard tard discuss the topic don't be a fag, please. i asked nicely
I can't wait for someone to make some sort of phishing prank version...
tard tard tard discuss the topic don't be a fag, please. i asked nicely
Where did you ask nicely?
If you were that addicted to social networking, I can'thelp but feel that deleting your account and therefore perhaps starting a new one would be fun, as it's sort of like starting over again. Like Prestiging on COD (or a slightly less nerdy analogy)
Where did you ask nicely?
I said please
Wait.. What the fuck??
For those who want to know, it deletes your account and info and friends from Facebook/Twitter if you think you spend too much time on them and want to stop.
I'm always confused when I hear about LinkedIn. I guess it's big but I've never heard of anyone using it and know just about nothing about it.
It's been called euthanasia on steroids - they treat the internet as a virtual Swiss clinic; deleting myspace accounts and removing facebook profiles. We track down this euthanasia gang on tonight's Fox at 11.
above post is dumb and gay
give above post boxes and gaybows
"*loads the gun* ... Ah hell i can't do this... ..Before i've committed an e-suicide!"
Facebook disabled it from working
I like their Cease & Desist letter a lot. "Facebook takes its users' privacy and the security of their data very seriously (...)"
I like their Cease & Desist letter a lot. "Facebook takes its users' privacy and the security of their data very seriously (...)"
I was reading that, I liked the part about soliciting user login information, which is what they do with gmail and hotmail to find your friends.
All their machines are busy...
There was already a thread on this but ill still contribute At first, i thought you know it was some fucked up site where you record yourself suiciding live. Then i was like :wtc: then i found out it deletes all of your myspace, and facebook and stuff. Pretty useful site for people who actually can't give up social networking sites i guess?
It won't work, because the probability of people making a new account on those sites again is very high, a fictional yet representative conversation would go like this:
Butch: Omg wat happnd 2 youRR twittur acc? Fog: I forced it to commit suicide. Butch: but wats da point .. i mean if u deleeted it nd created a new one.. u know.. wats da point? Fog: There is none, I'm an idiot.
Seriously?.. Damn, It all looks a bit too serious if you ask me. If it was a joke website that is funny then fair enough but useful tool, bad way of presenting it.
But I love my Facebook.. won't my friends miss me? :(
But I love my Facebook.. won't my friends miss me? :(
Take this, it's dangerous to be alone.
that's great n all, but instead of deleting and never having an account again, why don't you just stop using or ignore fb, twitter, etc?
that's great n all, but instead of deleting and never having an account again, why don't you just stop using or ignore fb, twitter, etc?
Because simply stopping to use them will leave your account and its info intact and available.
