• Two new dubstep remixes

Some remixes I did of some of the FL Studio showcase tracks. They are both experimental, and both were whipped up quite quickly. I thought it sounded quite good.
the first one isn't dubstep
the first one isn't dubstep
It doesn't have a wobble bass, but it does sound pretty dubsteppy imo. Maybe glitchstep or something?
the first one isn't dubstep
It's the halftime beat that characterises dubstep. Any C&C?
I can't agree that a halftime beat alone characterizes dubstep. If that were true, a large percentage of all music ever created would be dubstep. :v: Dubstep has many more unique and recognizable qualities than that.
The half time beat at the right BPM and the general style of the drums is what characterizes it IMO
