I got very pissed.
Not at the fact Valve didn't release the DLC, the overdramtic music, the spamming of quotes meant to prove a point, random, radio talk style drops used.
If you want a proper video for a boycott, have someone willing to make a well formed, well argumented video that isn't insanely bias and actually proves something.
Sorry, that was slightly agressive, I really, really didn't like the video, and while the Boycott is silly to me, it's okay. I just wonder why the boycotters lost hope so quickly, Vavle will support Left4Dead, don't lose trust just because they want to make a unique L4D experiance, that doesn't infringe on the Original, like DLC would.

I just watched it. That video seemed to heavily emphasize the whole "the SDK is coming 3 weeks after launch..." broken promise.
Newsflash: A good well constructed campaign or map will not be finished in 3 weeks. If they released it so soon, we would've just gotten an influx of shit maps (most likely fullbright ones, dev texture ones, etc.)
The impression I get from the L4D2 boycott is that they are looking for reasons to go after Valve. They don't seem to have a single argument against Valve, which is why I believe that. They just go from argument to argument: "But Left 4 Dead 1 just came out!", "The SDK didn't come out soon enough!", "they promised us new monsters!".

It's hard to trust them on the 20+ new items deal. Mainly because the L4D demo said "10 new weapons" on it and when you bought it turns out there was nothing new at all.
These 20 new items are probably reskins of old weapons and the melee weapons.

20 new weapons is 10 new weapons and 10 reskins.
It should be free for everyone who bought L4D, or there should be some kind of discount.
