By gothic I mean something that has a Dark Atmosphere with some horror and a bit of romance in it. Maybe some Demons or Vampires. And if anybody recommends Vampire Knight (AKA, Twilight: The Anime) I shall kill you!

boogiepop is probably for you. it takes place in a really normal setting, that's the only normal part about it though. the way the art is directed and the sound and everything you'll probably love it.
serial experiments lain might be good too.
darker than black maybe. i have only seen a fight scene on youtube. all of this stuff or at least most of it is on netflix instant. boogiepop is hard to find though.
also if you're into manga there's a good one called parasyte you might like, it's free online

D.Grayman has kind of a victorian style to it... It's not bad, but it's still shonen.
lucky star is pretty damn dark, you should look into that
