The killing monsters line is beautiful, it's echoes what Geralt says at the end of the first game
hot damn i'm so fucking ready
looks good, i love how instead of slowing it down like in the intro for the witcher 2 it's fast paced which shows how fast a witcher truly is.
hype hype hype
What a great fuckin trailer. Like literally everything about it.
Here's hoping that Ciri makes an appearance in it, her role is too big to skip out on. Fuck I'm hyped for this.
I'm 'very disappointed' at how the woman was portrayed in this trailer.
The Witcher was not 'saving' the woman as act of justice but rather thought that the woman was his personal object, and when those guys did something to his object that he didn't like, he got mad and killed them.
I can't help but feel concerned at how this trailer will effect all the minds of the people that will play this sexist game.
is that a serious post? I don't think it is tbh.
Yeah I wasn't able to figure out either if he's parodying a tumblr user or just interpreted it differently

I can't decide if I hyped up more for this or MGSV
you guys seriously suck at sarcasm

Why is the protagonist a man? I'm sick of playing as yet another white male, there was literally no reason why they couldn't make Geralt a sassy black woman.
I guess he's got the cat eyes though so he might be an otherkin, I think I heard something about his fursona being a White Wolf too so maybe he's not all bad.
sorry can't read the tone of sarcasm.

Flew over your head. He was killing the men, using justification that they were like any normal beasts he slays. The focus wasn't on the woman.
Is this me trying to explain impossible with this person? I have a feeling it more than likely is.

i must have superpowers then.
That other guys voice, could it be that Witcher from the first game?

Yeah, arguing with parody is often fruitless.
That other guys voice, could it be that Witcher from the first game?
Vesemir? Could be but it could also be anyone. Can't find a VA reference and its not like gruff voiced characters are rare in the Witcher.
That other guys voice, could it be that Witcher from the first game?
Probably. There would be loose ends if they didn't bring the other Witcher's back.
What the hell happened to Shanni? Did I miss something and she died in TW1?
What the hell happened to Shanni? Did I miss something and she died in TW1?
It was explained away in a journal entry in TW2 so they didn't have to have too much divergence, especially given how much of a role Triss plays in TW2. Makes sense too with Shani being realistic while Triss being generally obsessive.
Some of you have surely heard the rumors about the relationship that bloomed between the young medic Shani and Geralt. I hasten to inform you that they are all true. I consider Shani a friend both true and old. We go back to the days when I lectured in minstrelsy at Oxenfurt University, and I was the one to introduce her to the witcher. Upon Geralt's return to the living, they were reunited in Vizima, where the red-haired medic competed with Triss Merigold for Geralt's heart. She emerged victorious from the rivalry. The flame of their romance blazed bright, but it burned out quickly. Though a very young woman, Shani proved more mature than the witcher, who had always found relationships puzzling and difficult. Geralt would dodge his obligations towards her, preferring instead to pursue the missions King Foltest assigned him. The medic quickly realized this flour would yield no bread. She had a serious conversation with the witcher, and they parted amicably. Shani accepted an offer to teach at Oxenfurt and left for that city, whereas Geralt followed Foltest to the lands of the La Valettes. After splitting with Shani, the witcher needed comforting and quickly found solace in Triss Merigold's arms.
Some of the walking animations looked off but otherwise great trailer.

I agree. Once again the patriarchy meddles into affairs that are not their own. That STRONG WOMAN was clearly in the process of saving herself before that CIS WHITE MALE SCUM stepped in.
This reminds me, I need to do another playthrough of these games before 3. I must make time for it.
Fantastic series.
fucking sick love how fast he seems, in the books they always describe how witchers are so much faster than normal men. cannot wait for this
Time to hype
Looks beautiful.
The good old staccato violin fight scene
never fails to impress

It's Vesemir who was also narrating reveal trailer - i'm not sure if it's the same voiceactor as in the first game, but i asked one of the CDP devs when i had a chance
Here's a not shitty "I ripped it from a YT video" quality video from a random schmuck user
[hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0i88t0Kacs[/hd]
enjoy
Damn, this is more like Witcher 3: The Punisher more than anything else
(for those of you that have seen the dirty laundry video)
Geralt gives no fucks anymore.
I'll take ten.
