Jerry didn't even know who she was. Random people can go to these events too. Imagine if you were famous and had people dogging you left and right for pictures and autographs. He probably thought he had dealt with all manners of fan requests until this happened. For a lot of these types of people they just want to be left alone and I do not blame them. I think Louis CK said it best in that video a few posts back.
You may be the type of person to accept stuff like that. That's fine. But you're also not famous and constantly harassed about your fame. Plus he was in the middle of an interview. It's pretty rude to just butt into something like that.

You don't have to be autistic or have OCD to not like being touched by random strangers. Most people don't like being touched and you need to respect their personal space. And it's not only the hug that is the problem, her whole approach is wrong; she approached him from behind, interrupted and surprised him, didn't even introduce her self, entered his personal space and continued to move forward even when he repeatedly said no. And let's also not forget the guy is married. Imagine if Jerry did all this to her, he would be called a creep and I bet some would call it a sexual assault.

Jerry is a person who has always liked his personal space, his privacy, and he's uncompromising about that. A lot of his humour stems from that. That's [B]who[/B] he is. You're someone who can apparently go hug any random stranger, cool, good for you, but no one honestly cares, or should care. People are different and you can embrace it and every stranger you want. I won't, and I won't feel the least bit bad about it because that's not who I am.
