Because it's being falsely advertised as beef, which causes multiple problems, including the fact you are not getting what you fucking paid for.
Beef can be cooked at lower temperatures if you want a rare steak or whatnot. Do the same with pork, and you'll end up with food poisoning.
This pork was rubbed with "chemicals including paraffin wax and industrial salts". Note the use of including. It's quite possible some harmful chemicals could have been used in addition to these, and either way, I don't really want paraffin wax on my meat, y'dig?
Also, religious people. Jews and Muslims don't eat pork, but both can eat beef. Sure they're tricked into eating it, which is forgiven under both holy books, but the fact remains that they were sold something that was not what they thought it was.
I'd have a cow if I was tricked into eating pig like this.

By the way, Paraffin wax is harmless.
I can't vouch for the "Industrial Salts". but eating Wax won't hurt your system (so long as you're not eating pounds of the stuff, of course.)
Most of your chocolate candy is coated with it.
Of course, "Paraffin Wax" encompasses a wide variety of Waxes, and its possible other certain chemicals could have been included which wouldn't necessarily be ideal to ingest.
Reminds of the fake egg and rice that floated around China a couple of years ago. Not sure if it's still an issue. To put it in perspective, there are illegal coal mining operations in China because its just really fucking big and most of it is wasteland. The rice was some wax compound and the egg used some plastics to mimic the look and feel. It was rather interesting to see this kind of being made. Anything for RMB I guess?

Well, there is a food-grade paraffin wax that is used for candies and cheese. Unsure if it was the right type of grade though, especially when you have 'industrial salts' thrown at it :v:
