Oh my God, that is honestly one of the saddest things I've ever seen...
It just kept trying and trying to get it to wake up. I was okay up till then. But then you could see in it's face that the reality had finally sunk in. And then it lied down next to it's friend. That was it; I bawled. I honestly cried my eyes out just now.
And it just infuriates me seeing this, to think how many belief systems make people think animals are devoid of souls, and therefore can't feel and love like we can. Bullshit to that. Sure, we're an extremely advanced species, but we're not BETTER.
How can someone see this, and tell themselves that other creatures don't love each other just as fiercely as we can?

Sad yes, but I don't think the other cat realizes its dead, kneading is common for cats, they do that when they lay down to sleep on or next to something.

This, as odd as it sounds, I think the cat's trying to mate with the body. Not being an asshole or something, but it looks very much like it.
Also people really cry to this? It's sad and all but it's nothing to cry about.... maybe the internet desensitized me more that I know, or maybe since my mother's death (I was 12 when it happened)I don't cry to shit like this anymore... idk.

It happened in Turkey, Antalya. I'm like a few miles away from that place. It happened like a year ago, and I bet I saw that cat before. I've been through that street before.

Also, it's interesting how, at the end of the day, a bunch of "internet tough guys" (I'm generalizing here) can get their hearstrings yanked by cats.
I think it's sad, but I really won't cry at something unless I am the one who lost a pet, family member or friend.
It looks sad, but the cat is actually just tenderizing the meat for the upcoming feast
