Washington (CNN) -- A county official in Missouri is scaling back her latest suggestion that American troops should overthrow President Barack Obama.
Jefferson County Recorder of Deeds Debbie Dunnegan called President Barack Obama "our domestic enemy" and suggested the U.S. Constitution would give the U.S. military the authority to oust the president in a coup d'état, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Wednesday.
"I cannot and do not understand why no action is being taken against our domestic enemy. I know he is supposedly the commander in chief, but the Constitution gives you the authority. What am I missing?" Dunnegan, a Republican, wrote in a since deleted Facebook post.
All I can see is "A nigger in the White House! Doesn't this disgust you?"

This is the only reason I see behind the hatred for him. He hasn't done anything another president wouldn't do.

So were both bushes but you don't see them being called public enemies or them needing to show their goddamn birth certificate.

The birth certificate controversy was rooted in legitimacy though, it just got out of hand because teabillies couldn't let it go after there was adequate proof.
Bush Jr. received similar hatred from the Left. I'm certain Dick Cheney and him have been called public enemies and war criminals.
I can't get the rationel behind this, if Obama was white and a republican everything he has done from the multiple pseudo wars in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia and southern Afghanistan, to his support of Israel during the recent conflicts, to dumping military supplies on police, would be considered great by these guys
Like what has Obama done so badly that america is completely destroyed, additionally he's a lame duck after the midterms because either the republicans take the senate and initiate operation tear everything down, or the democrats hold control and everything goes back to gridlock
Either way the worst enemies of america isn't the president, its the 435 members of congress and the dozen or so republican govs that have ruined the entire government to the point that it barely functions
Politics is so toxic, Washington DC would be considered a Superfund site if not for the fact that the republicans want to demolish all enviromental protections when they return in january

Like every other president the US has had in the last three decades?

Bush Jr. was responsible for us invading a foreign country on false/poor intelligence pretenses which cost us an estimated $1.7 trillion, not to mention thousands of lives and our international credibility, and a massive contributor to the 2007 financial crisis that we're still trying to recover from. And I'm not even bothering to cover all the incompetent decisions he and his administration were responsible for; these are the big ones that he earned all the hate for from.
And no, there never was any legitimacy to the whole "is he a citizen" paranoia and noise the right was making over Obama. There was a lot of stupidity though, making it really fucking obvious that a lot of people in this country don't know how citizenship works. His mother was an American citizen from Kansas; doesn't matter if his father wasn't from here, or had any authorization to be here... she was-- therefore he as her son was/still is an American citizen.
