Trump took new jabs at a former Miss Universe about her weight and complained that his microphone had malfunctioned, keeping the focus on his defensive performance during Monday’s event at Hofstra University on Long Island.
Yes Trump, if anything your arguments had too much substance, and were lacking in petty point scoring.
Christs sake, he really can't handle one-on-one serious debates can he
Trump says he may hit ‘harder’ in next debate
no, what you need is some actual good policy you can talk about. Not more of the first debate
Will say one thing, this is the most entertaining election I've seen in years. It's like watching two hobos fight over a wedge of cheese.
Will say one thing, this is the most entertaining election I've seen in years. It's like watching two hobos fight over a wedge of cheese.
except the fate of millions of people's lives relies on that wedge of cheese
except the fate of millions of people's lives relies on that wedge of cheese
It's the last cheese wedge on earth.
Christs sake, he really can't handle one-on-one serious debates can he no, what you need is some actual good policy you can talk about. Not more of the first debate
He really didn't try to debate at all, he is aiming for being entertaining rather than factual. He never mentioned a plan for tackling anything and even if he did it was only with vague words like: Tough, bad, terrible, worst, good, better, great, etc. All of those are opinion words and has very little value in a well-moderated debate. What we got yesterday was a pageant, and the moderator did little to nothing to make sure Trump mentioned specifics nor even attempted to keep him from interrupting Hillary what so ever, it was all done for the drama. In fact there was a question he out right refused to answer.
That's why he invited Gennifer Flowers to a front-row seat, yeah?
No, man, you don't get it. Trump's so considerate of Hillary's feelings that he invited Gennifer there just so Hillary could enjoy the victory in having Flowers watch her humiliate him. This guy's playing on a whole new level, just wait and see.
It doesn't matter what he says, his supporters are already insisting the last debate was a solid Trump victory and that the online polls they brigaded are proof. It's fucking ridiculous but there's no winning.
-snip-
He does realize that by bringing up her husband's affairs, he just makes himself look less fit for the Presidential role, right?
He does realize that by bringing up her husband's affairs, he just makes himself look less fit for the Presidential role, right?
Only to people who already don't support him.
Only to people who already don't support him.
Which is bad, because last I checked, he's still behind her in the polls.
He really is a 1980s cartoon villain. "I'll get you next time, G. I. Joe!"
It would be hell frozen over if Trump ever stood at the podium and actually answered questions directly.
I still don't understand why Trump [supporters] think this will be a devastating masterstroke, or even a good idea. "Your husband cheated on you!" has nothing to do with Hillary's politics or policies, she's not Bill. If anything it will probably just serve to worsen his already bad stance with women voters. Not to mention that Trump himself has been married thrice and has had a child out of wedlock, not exactly the upright model of traditional marriage.
You can't make this shit up. This is actually how a child acts. He's acting like a brat who just lost at Mario Kart and is saving face by saying, "You didn't win, i just wasn't trying!"
Question: what does Bill having an affair have to do with Hillary?
Oh, he can fuck off. I'm no Clinton fan, but this is just idiotic and disgraceful of him.
Question: what does Bill having an affair have to do with Hillary?
it shows that shes a cuck i guess
Nothing hits harder than Colin Powell's "dicking bimbos at home" email Trump, just go home already
He loves his zingers, and if I were her, I'd respond with a simple one. 'I'm sorry Donald, last I checked Hillary Clinton was running for President, not Bill.'
Do Trump supporters on FP think this is a good tactic? Shouldn't he be trying to present himself as a good president, or at least Clinton as a bad one.
WALL OR BUST
this is what people wanted i guess. asking trump to focus on less petty tactics to use in his debates is asking trump to not be trump. if the man has to rework his debating strategy to involve not being a dickhead, hes being disingenuous. you get what you ask for.
For someone who is allegedly "smarter than you realise" and a "brilliant businessman who knows what he's doing", Trump sure seems to have a complete lack of understanding when it comes to strategy and image. Bringing up Bill's infidelities is a personal attack on Hillary, and sure, it might hurt her feelings, even if she doesn't show it, but it won't hurt her image, and going there makes you an insensitive asshole. Even when you ignore the fact that it has nothing to do with policy or her potential as president, it's just not a good move to make. You can go negative in politics, but just, not when the scandal you use isn't even perpetrated by your opponent. Trump hasn't learned a thing from the first debate apparently. I anticipate more "I HAVE A MUCH BETTER TEMPERAMENT THAN HILLARY" moments where he is just completely oblivious to his outward appearance.
Seriously why didn't he mention the wall it's his main policy Rip aitomerge
Yeah, this really has nothing to do with Hillary. Plus, this was years and years and years ago. You don't think they've made amends?
well to be fair my parents never did
Please do, Trump. Continue acting like a petulant child. Double down, even. That's what's killing you, and the best part is that you're doing it to yourself. All Clinton has to do is keep her composure and stick to her policy while your runaway mouth digs your grave.
