Without knowing more context, I'm gonna have to say that the reporter was being kind of a jerk. How many times do you have to tell someone to leave you alone before they finally go?

I think this was handled well. Not by the reporter but by the other people involved. I was expecting to hear yelling and arguing but he kept his cool. This looks like the reporter was trying to get a reaction out of this guy but was completely shut down before it got out of hand.
