Expert mode. Oh dear.
They are STILL Updating this game?
Probably the best 5 bucks I've ever spent on a video game. I fucking love Terraria.
They are STILL Updating this game?
i heard this was the last update then they might go on to other projects but still you got that otherworld confirmed for the future which looks pretty cool.
i heard this was the last update then they go on to other projects
It's the last update made by the games creator, he's handing off updates to another team after this.
I remember people making "Minecraft clone but in 2d" jokes, even though that's so dumb well if they want to do that, at least terraria has content
): I lost my characters for this game, had built a new computer and forgot to back up my characters before shutting down my old PC for the last time. Now that PC doesn't even boot anymore.
I wonder what Expert mode will entail. I've done a full hardcore run, so it might be fun to do. Or it's going to be hard and frustrating.
I'd get back into this but I havent played since 1.0 so I'm afraid my head is going to be crushed by the sheer depth of the game at this point.

I like how this game adds new content yet keeps the nice learning curve to it. If you start a new character you still for the most part go from copper to silver, to gold items, then you defeat the easy bosses and make your way from there. Most of this new stuff looks like it expands the late game which is great. Also camera mode will make taking screenshots waaaay easier and also achievements will be cool to check out. For $2.50 this game just keeps on giving.
I installed this game, played it for like an hour without knowing anything, got killed by blobs a few times, then just uninstalled it and never touched it again. Guess, i should reinstall it and give it another chance.

Welp, Gonna reinstall Terraria.
terraria gets more content updates than early access games and it's not fucking early access.
I remember people making "Minecraft clone but in 2d" jokes, even though that's so dumb well if they want to do that, at least terraria has content
It's sad because terraria has more thought out features and ideas than minecraft ever will. if i had to choose between minecraft and terraria, terraria would win everytime
goddamn, it'll be time to create a new world.
I just started getting into this game. Does this mean to experience one of these updates I need to create a new map?
yeah probably
They are STILL Updating this game?
Remarkable, I know. I'm genuinely overwhelmed by how much has gone into this game, and they haven't charged us anything beyond the initial game's price. I remember back when this game was in its earlier stages, back when TotalBiscuit and Jesse Cox had a collab series on it that lasted for multiple seasons.
Terraria is probably twice the game Starbound will ever be at this point.
Always loved the music in Terraria. I'm a big fuckin fan of C418's music for Minecraft, but Terraria's is so dynamic.
It's definitely worth playing past the start. I recommend you to play it with a friend too!
Enjoyable alone, fantastic with friends.
It's sad because terraria has more thought out features and ideas than minecraft ever will. if i had to choose between minecraft and terraria, terraria would win everytime
Minecraft isn't a quarter of the game terrarria was, and especially not now it simply doesn't hold a candle to it, even with the 3d nature of minecraft.
Weren't they making a sequel to Terraria? Or am I making shit up? Either way, fuck yeah, more Terraria.
Weren't they making a sequel to Terraria? Or am I making shit up? Either way, fuck yeah, more Terraria.
They are. There's also a spin-off in the works in the meantime.
Terraria is probably twice the game Starbound will ever be at this point.
This makes me so sad.

Oh man I remember the amazing times I've had on the facepunch server, can't wait for it to come alive again. Terraria is amazing.
