According to the suit, Stacey Wilson Betts took her daughter to see Bieber's show in Portland, Oregon on July 14, 2010. Betts claims it was incredibly loud inside the arena thanks to Justin's shrieking fans ... but Bieber made it MUCH MUCH WORSE when he climbed into a "heart-shaped aluminum/steel gondola" which was pulled out into the crowd (below). In the suit, Betts claims Bieber "created a wave like effect of screaming by pointing into various sections of the arena. Then enticed the crowd into a frenzy of screams by continuously waving his arms in a quick and upward motion." Betts says the gondola acted as a "sound conductor creating a sound blast that permanently damaged both of my ears." As a result, Betts claims she now suffers from tinnitus ... which causes a constant pulsing, whooshing shound that makes it hard to sleep. She also complains of other hearing-related damage. She's suing Bieber -- along with Bieb's record label, the concert promoter and the arena -- and demanding $9.23 million in damages. We reached out to Bieber for comment -- so far, no word back.
http://www.tmz.com/2012/07/12/justin-bieber-lawsuit-hearing-noise-concert-oregon/
This can't honestly hold up.
Well if you don't bring hearing protection to a concert you kinda have to suit yourself.
Dumb bitch...
this is stupid
Even listening to Bieber is already hearing damage. On a serious note, it's that woman's loss.
"Sound blast" otherwise known as "please give me money because I was stupid enough to go to a concert with sensitive hearing."
This can't honestly hold up.
You'd be amazed at what does.
Always bring ear protection to a concert. You don't have to worry about looking like a pussy when it's a Bieber concert.
She makes it sound like Bieber is in direct control of his fans. Though that isn't far from the truth.
This is stupid. It's same as saying that man would sue ferrari company cause he was hit by man who drives ferrari .
The woman sounds dumb as fuck, as opposed to just accepting that she was a fucking idiot for going to a packed music venue without hearing protection and developing tinnitus because of it, she's came up with the bullshit idea of a sound conducting gondola and Beibers near telepathic crowd control skills. Physics man, this bitch doesn't understand it.
This is stupid. It's same as saying that man would sue ferrari company cause he was hit by man who drives ferrari .
Never underestimate the stupidity of the human race
Gotta watch out for those sound blasts. Especially when they're bouncing off gondolas.
I only wish he was being sued for more.

That's one old picture of him. Oh it's 2 years old, it all makes sense now. Should've read more closely.
I only wish he was being sued for more.
i dont like his music as much as the next guy but i mean he doesnt deserve just to be sued
Justin "Sound Blast" Bieber Arbiter of Sound
That's one old picture of him. Oh it's 2 years old, it all makes sense now. Should've read more closely.
Neat!
9.23 million. Sounds reasonable!
There was a time when you could go to an Alice Cooper concert and if you got hearing damage you were honored.
I only wish he was being sued for more.
hahahhaa surely u mean SHE ahhaa xD No.
What is this I don't even
I went to a Justin Bieber concert. The screaming was loud, but it didn't damage my ears.
Just when I thought this article couldn't get any more stupid...
whooshing shound
Ok Sean Connery
Just when I thought this article couldn't get any more stupid... Ok Sean Connery
I deal with tinnitus too, I get that at times. Most of the time, it's just ringing, but the whooshing can start at times, usually accompanied by temporary deafness in one ear. It's like all the sound suddenly moves to my left ear, and the other one only has a whooshing and painful ringing. However, I got my tinnitus from almost monthly ear infections as a toddler, not going to a half-witted teenage crooner's public display of musical humiliation, so symptoms may differ.
People sue way too much in this country. It's irritating.
sue him all that you have.. i have your support. his voice is annoying as anything. just looking at him makes me sick!
