I'll give my opinions later on.
Well shit, maybe I should update my gaming desktop to 10 to grab this.
Looks like it requires an xbox one controller. not sure if it is just recommended or not
Looks like it requires an xbox one controller. not sure if it is just recommended or not
pretty sure someone in the Racing Sim thread mentioned that you can use a 360 controller as well
It won't let me download it for some reason, even if my specs are above the mininum (I should be able to pull 1080p 60fps with no difficulty), the button just stays greyed out.
Real question is does it support my Logitech Driving Force GT?
Hooray for gimped Forza
pretty sure someone in the Racing Sim thread mentioned that you can use a 360 controller as well
I'm using a Dualshock 3 emulated as a 360 controller, works great with rumble too.
Hope we can rip car models from this, would be great to 3D print high quality 1:20 scale toy cars
Can't it's a UWP, at least right now.
Can't it's a UWP.
Tell that to Killer Instinct
I have not played a race SIM in 7 years. Why is this one so great?
Tell that to Killer Instinct
wait... what? Edit: I remember now there was tricks to rip from UWP right now.
I have not played a race SIM in 7 years. Why is this one so great?
It's not. It's just free. Unlocking cars early without racing and earning them is $1 a pop, also
I have not played a race SIM in 7 years. Why is this one so great?
Racing simulators have came a long ways in 7 years.
I have not played a race SIM in 7 years. Idk why I would ever want to do any rallying in Forza when Dirt Rally exists
It won't let me download it for some reason, even if my specs are above the mininum (I should be able to pull 1080p 60fps with no difficulty), the button just stays greyed out.
go to windows settings>system>storage and change "new apps will save to" to the drive that you have windows 10 installed to. if you dont have enough room on that drive then you can't play the game.
I have not played a race SIM in 7 years. Why is this one so great?
pc is seriously lacking in semi sims with loads of production cars like forza or gran turismo. it's also free, gives you constant unlocks without need for grinding, and all cars are $1 if you want to unlock something early.
Is there any way for me to get this without windows store? On W10 but it doesn't work because of some account settings.
Is there any way for me to get this without windows store? On W10 but it doesn't work because of some account settings.
nah. Is the only way it is being distributed for now, and probably forever. You not linked to a MS account?
go to windows settings>system>storage and change "new apps will save to" to the drive that you have windows 10 installed to. if you dont have enough room on that drive then you can't play the game.
How much space do you need? The 30gb in the OP? If so that really sucks if you have an SSD.
How much space do you need? The 30gb in the OP? If so that really sucks if you have an SSD.
How does that suck at all? Just change it to the other drive if you have one. If you dont have another drive then you already knew what you were going into.
Those graphics card requirements :(
Those graphics card requirements :(
it's not very high.. the recommended / ideal specs would actually do 60 fps at max settings, and on a 960m (~750 ti) it gets 30 fps at medium, 1080p, and that's not even a midrange gpu anymore.
Idk why I would ever want to do any rallying in Forza when Dirt Rally exists
I never liked the way cars handle in Codemasters games, all their games look kinda weird to me, Forza looks so gorgeous.
How does that suck at all? Just change it to the other drive if you have one. The drive I have windows installed on to is a 120gb SSD. I have a 2TB HDD that I wish I could put it on but it doesn't work because windows 10 isn't installed there.
if you go to system -> storage you can choose your install location? unless that's not what you mean? [t]http://i.imgur.com/ZRmhWok.png[/t]
Yes, but you have the problem that Kinky Frog is having if you install it on any drive without a windows 10 installation. Most people with an SSD have windows 10 installed there, because of the OS performance boost you get. Maybe I'm misunderstanding meppers here?
[t]https://i.imgur.com/lym1Ale.png[/t] For instance, my computer. Windows 10 installed on a 500Gb SSD but I also have a 1Tb HDD (Windows not installed on). I have the settings set so it installs on the HDD. It is downloading just fine.
