Simple.
A little simple, but it still looks corperate. The light blue seems a bit common, though.
So, light blue is a bit of an overused colour? Think I'll make the borders on the main content bit more defined.
Looks very generic and cyber-squatterish, which might be what you are going for. The beveled rectangles acting as the header and footers looks plain and boring, circa 2000 when "web2.0lololool" was first thrown about

The beveled rectangles acting as the header and footers looks plain and boring, circa 2000 when "web2.0lololool" was first thrown about
Yeah, the whole "web 2.0 bandwagon" was what I was going for. Any ideas on how to make such a design more interesting?
I have to agree with KorJax, it does look cyber-squatterish. Really, there isn't anything interesting to this design. It seems to be missing structure, like a grid. It looks unfinished.
The typography is shit, the rounded corners are way too large, the logo is hideous, there's all kinds of ugly inconsistencies in the padding, the navigation text is way too big, the separators between the navigation look really weird and don't fit with the rest of the design at all, and I'd ditch the gray gradient on the content and put it on the background instead because gray text on gray background is yucky. Also something I always tell beginners, learn how to do grid based design and start playing around off the grid once you actually know what you're doing: http://www.thegridsystem.org/
Its not really a practical site for a corporate business, looks way to casual. The whole huge curved edges style went out years ago, give it some sleek very subtle curves on the corners, put in a proper nav bar, I'm not trying to offend you but that thing looks terrible, Go take a look at some Corporate websites. KmartSqrl has given some good advice there, I would follow that more than anything.
Pretty sweet design, but I think it's a little too.. fun for a corporate design. Nice work though! :)
