Hello, I've been playing piano for years and I now want to learn guitar. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001J4BT88/ref=oss_product This is cheap and in my price range, would it be good for me to start learning with?
It is a toy. It plays, but that's just about it. "Not suitable for children under 5 years of age" Don't get me wrong, yes you can play stuff with that. But you most likely are going to hear lots of fret buzz (although it's not that big problem with nylons) and I don't think it can stay in tune. If really want to learn to play, I recommend you to quintuple your budget.
As long as it plays it's fine. I heard full size is 40" and this one is 38", so it's not much off a full size guitar?
Don't buy it. Waste of money. It won't play.
You're better off saving for some months or something.

My first ever guitar was on £20. It played ok. I broke it(I say I, I mean my sister) when she threw it out of my flat window. Then as I got better at guitar I purchased a £100 guitar, then I progressed and bought a even more expensive guitar. If its tone and sound your looking for, a more expensive guitar is what your looking for but if your just looking for something to play on in spare time then I guess its fine.
If it's just a guitar to learn how to play on, then it's just fine for you. You shouldn't immediately buy the best and most expensive guitar you find, first learn how to play, learn to play properly, then move on to a better guitar. You are not skilled enough to say what guitar has the right sound and feel yet. Buying anything more expensive would be a waste of money.
Thanks for your help. I'll try this one and get a better one if I get the hang of it :v:
