Can you imagine the look on his face if this guy went onto the base in an attempt to blow himself up, pressed the button and absoloutely nothing happened...and then a few seconds later guffaws of laughter from a van parked not far away.

The fact that this nutso was only a town away and went to a school mere miles away from my own at the same time I would've been at school due to only being a year older than him feels really eerie when this kind of thing happens. Apparently people who knew him thought he was off-kilter for a while, a guy he worked with at Wal-Mart stopped talking to him after he went, "I hate America."
