That wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Everyone knows that in this situation you can only trust a sniper or a special forces team.

I think they wouldn't use a sniper, because imagine the shock the children would experience - seeing a man getting shot mere meters from them.

I'm surprised they have a smoke grenade now. Also, the man was shot, critically wounded and died in the hospital.
