An Arizona cop barged into a woman’s home while she was in the shower and handcuffed her as she stood naked and sopping wet, according to a lawsuit
The first half of the article made it sound like the cops just barged into some random person's house and arrested the first person they saw.

EDIT: oops, bad reading
I'd like to wait for more info on what's going on here instead of just knee-jerk "OMG KAWPS R BAD FUCK DAH POLLEECE!" Like it's apparently cool to do now because apparently all of society is becoming 13 years old and edgy again. Thanks though.
being naked is pretty common in arizona. it's hot as fuck over here, clothes suck.
The first half of the article made it sound like the cops just barged into some random person's house and arrested the first person they saw.
Although that could've been what happened, it doesn't say anywhere why the cops even came in to begin with.
They mentioned something about a domestic dispute.
Although yeah the article does make it look like they just barged in.
I also don't get why the OP left out so much of the article.
Because he's trying to perpetuate more of that 13 year old pseudo-anarchist edge of course.

I took the most interesting part of the article.

Most likely because OP is known for terrible threads.
I took the most interesting part of the article.
That's bullshit and you know it.
That's bullshit and you know it.
I missed out dding this quote as well. I posted the article in a rush.
Officer Doug Rose lectured an unclothed, sobbing Esmeralda Rossi in front of her daughter and told her he was in charge, even though she was in her own home. Even as an investigation determined that Rose illegally entered the home, the policeman managed to retire and start collecting his pension.
Awesome. So instead of being fired for barging into a women's home illegally, he gets all of the benefits of retirement. Well, cops get away with murder these days in America so what's new.
Ok so why did the cop do all this anyway? It says she was never charged with a crime to begin with, but what was his reasoning behind all this?

Why else? Tits.
I'm being serious, he is probably a dirty fuck that thought it'd be nice to grope up a naked lady near the end of his career.
That seems like a flaw in the system for retirement.
Imagine a cop beating a guy half to death for something incredibly petty because he was this race or that orientation, retiring, and receiving no punishment.

Happens all the time.

Don't worry man, I like naked ladies too.

As opposed to your reasonable not edgy at all 14 year old cops are never bad viewpoint.
Investigators probed the case and determined Rose entered the home illegally and without probable cause. He also didn’t fully document what happened: the fact that Rossi was naked was never reported. There is also no mention of Rossi’s “arrest” in his police report.
You can't legally revoke someone's pension, that's their money. It's been paid into while he was working for the government (most pension accounts today are government sponsored and not regulated by FINRA) by the government, and it's been held for them in an account waiting for them to retire.
The cop obviously did something illegal and wrong here but you can't revoke someone's previously earned money for an incident that they did later down the line

There's a reason people have this mentality, I don't submit to the all police are bad, but you'd have to be blinder than a bat to ignore all the bad shit the police do.
Happens all the time.
Doesn't mean we should keep letting it happen.
As opposed to your reasonable not edgy at all 14 year old cops are never bad viewpoint.
Funny because I have never once perpetuated that viewpoint. So sorry that I don't instantly board the cop hate circlejerk bandwagon whenever "Cops do X thing" is posted and want a proper amount of information to rise about the situation first.

Well of course there's corruption in the system, I never once have denied that, but that doesn't mean we should throw context out the window in the name of a good old fashion witch hunt just because it's convenient.

Yeah the real solution would be prosecution but that doesnt happen often, and even then it takes a lot of public pressure for that to be initiated. Something relatively minor like this is very unlikely to see anything especially when beatings and murders dont.
Rose and another officer responded to Rossi’s home, responding to a complaint about an argument between the mom and her estranged husband.
Some places have it to where if you're called to a domestic, somebody's gotta go. You don't respond to the call and leave them both there. There's been too many incidents and deaths because of it, so now it's law that police arrest the primary aggressor. Other places maybe not so much, an argument, police show up, talk it over, no big deal. Other places, breaking your own shit during an argument is all it takes
